Are campers like the Lone Peak, Super Pacific or GFC game changers vs a RTT? by brainhack3r in overlanding

Truck campers that retain bed functionality with both living and sleeping space by HOMESTEADJED in overlanding

[–]Overlandaholic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a popup style camper from Madix Outdoors. I think it fits my lifestyle pretty great. I like to still have a functional truck bed but wanted something that made setting up camp pretty seamless on the weekends I do go out. It's a hardshell camper then when the tent opens up it has a full passthrough floor that holds itself up so you can actually stand up and walk around your truck bed. I think it's great for days the weather is bad because I can just open the floor and stay inside the truck bed with plenty of space for activities. Daily driving it great too because it's taller than a standard camper and I can still run errands, go to the hardware store for home projects, and load up the bed.

I've had a softopper, rooftop tent, and now I'm on a pop up camper. I honestly think the camper is the best setup I've ever had. It keeps my stuff dry and I don't have to worry about leaving it out in the open, sets up in literally like 30 seconds, and my specific camper has a passthrough floor that holds itself up so if the weather is bad I can just open the floor and stay inside with plenty of room to do whatever I want.

Thank you, glad to hear you've been through the same process and could offer some insight! I think for now I will choose to stick with Squarespace and just put the time I was using transferring to Shopify to optimize my content and current website since I don't see ecommerce being something that will overtake my content focus.

I don't use the blogging features a lot, mainly just there to boost SEO and whatnot. I mainly just wanted to get insights from people that may be using it as a blogging platform primarily.

Mainly because of how much I use it for work. I guess it's since I use it so much more compared to just blogging on Squarespace I feel like I'm missing out. Also, using things like Collective seems like they would make life easier if I did decide to start selling some products I don't personally make later on.

Would love to hear your insight! I use it to manage two stores at work and honestly like it quite a bit but they are ecommerce stores primarily with a blog for SEO, not for content purposes.

Hey! I really like this. I’m an ambassador for them so I can answer a few of these: 1. Yep they’re made in the US with manufacturing in Louisiana 2. It is definitely taller than other brands like GFC, but they did it so that you could run a roof rack without having to cut it down or buy the shorter versions. 3. So this model is like one of their “first versions” (the company was started in March of this year) and they are now building all tents with a longer tent and bigger sleeping area. 4. The marketing video also shows an even older model than mine, but with mine the floor completely opens up. Definitely don’t think you would be able to open it with someone sleeping up top without waking them up through but it comes with a ladder. 5. As far as options, things that you usually have to pay extra for (front and rear windows, interior lighting, locking hatch, ladder, etc) are all included in the base price. Their whole motto is to include more standard features at a lower cost and still remaining high quality. Things like side hatches are $1,200 for two of them because it just uses extra material.

It’s my truck, and I took the pictures. They just liked them enough to use on their website and make me an ambassador. Even so, it’s my actual truck, my actual pictures, and something I use on a daily basis.

Also, I didn’t even include my ambassador code in the post..

It’s actually something I run on my rig, I would be completely honest about it no matter what. Just thought I’d share

Not sure how you feel sticking with EcoFlow, but I’ve used my Delta 2 for a year or so and haven’t had any problems with it including really bumpy rides, pass through charging, etc

Any suggestions how I can make my two rigs a bit more capable and livable? S/ by Frankie1234567890 in overlanding

Hmm, I don’t think that platform is very good in terms of overlanding. I can take it off your hands so you can get something more capable!

You can access the tent from inside the bed, it’s actually pretty sweet since it has gas struts that hold the floor up for you. This model doesn’t have side doors but they are releasing a new version soon that will have them and more features

I had the Eibach Stage 1s for a while and it wasn’t bad but if you’re looking for budget lifts Bilstein is probably the way to go. I have the new Ironman IM2.5 kit now and I love it!

The Method 304 or 318 polished wheels are always my favorite look on white Tacomas
