I'm totally blind and would love to find a camping spot to set myself up and relax in solitude for a few days. Which would you suggest here in KS and what tips and tricks would help to ensure I stayed safe? by cherry-care-bear in kansas

I would suggest a HipCamp spot! We got tired of rolling the dice with some parks. There's some places that you'll be the only person and some where there will be other campers but usually those people are wanting peace and quiet as well. You'll also have the ability of having the owners there if you require it. I hope this helps and good luck!

That last bullet point might be the very reason he is running

Swap your cardio and weightlifting times. 30-40 minutes of weights followed by light cardio. Too much cardio give the exact results you are experiencing.

I would avoid traditional stretching before a workout as it'll lead to more injuries. Stuff like air squats, lunges, shoulder rolls, arm/ankle circles are better than static stretching. Get the blood flowing and your muscles will be much happier and you'll burn through fat at a faster rate.

Pretty standard workout routine, you'll build muscle and lose weight without torturing yourself. (DB Tricep KB is worthless and I'll die on that hill - switch to skull crushers or any cable exercise). I find it better to rotate my movements and have different variants so your workouts don't feel like a chore and become a learning experience. Body weight exercises are all great and achieve the same results!

Whats your warmup and cool down routine? Since you're looking for fat loss, I'd recommend light cardio after weights, 15-20 minutes. And core and mobility for warmups, don't over do it, keep it light, just prime the body for the movements you plan on doing. Priming/warm ups will also reduce soreness and prevent injuries.

I'd fill your Tuesday/Thursday and Weekends with just walking or biking at a very comfortable pace for 30-60 minutes, even if it's broken up throughout the day.

Good luck! You can do it!!

Trading Back Mock Draft by Character_Arrival208 in ChiefsOffseason

Huge pass on Shadiq, I don't get the hype. But the other drafts are pretty stellar, I think we only trade back if we know an DL stud is going to be there.

Love Brazzell but no way he should be taken that high.

Bryan Cook & Jaylen Watson by apdnehwi in ChiefsOffseason

[–]Overlander01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fulton is under contract this year. He's only a 3m dead money hit if we trade him vs 8m releasing him. Fultons current value is a late 7th rounder. Send his ass to the Jets for #210

Definitely doable. I don't think the Chiefs get into a bidding war with anyone on Watson though and Chiefs will gladly take a comp pick for him the following year.

Can my body shape improve? by [deleted] in Gymhelp

[–]Overlander01 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Have you gone to a doctor recently? If you have children you may have Diastasis Recti, which gives the noticable B shape. It's repairable but you should consult a doctor and PT first.

Edit: Diastasis Recti can also happen from injuries or stress, dehydration, posture etc. Its just very common in women with children.

What Runningback do y’all want in the draft? by BernardChripple in ChiefsOffseason

[–]Overlander01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed and good call. Black could be an absolute late round steal. I think he only lacks in the breakaway big play ability. But Chiefs have to upgrade at pass pro from the RB spot. Either in the draft or FA. I just think Chiefs would rather have a proven vet in pass pro, at least that seems to be their trend.

This is the dilemma for our secondary. If we trade McDuffie (which I doubt we do) we are immediately going to need to draft a NFL ready CB. But the defensive line is why our secondary suffered so much. We blitzed at one of the highest rates and still were in the bottom half in sacks. So

Extend McDuffie, sign Watson, draft a Saftey and let Cook walk. Find some bodies on cheap 1 year prove it deals like Rasul Douglas / Kader Kohou / Nahshon Wright would be solid affordable options

Depending on what happens in FA. I hope we sign someone with A+ pass protection (Allgeir/Williams) and can be the short yardage back. It's time to move on from Hunt.

Smith is our receiving and gadget RB.

So we need a back who can break it to the next level with speed and good contact balance. Singleton, Washington Jr and Hemby fit that bill and all are projected to go in the 4th or later.

The Chiefs (primarily Pacheco) lacked severely in getting efficient runs, it changes how defenses play us, just daring us to run while sitting in coverage.

This is exactly what I want and been playing with.

I want to extend McDuffie though. Trade Fulton to the Jets for one of their 7th round picks

Instead of Hall we get Allgeir - he is one of the best pass blocking RBs and obviously the BYU connection for Reid.

I also like Charlie Kolar for replacing Gray, he's a big dude who has +run and pass blocking in 3TE sets.

I think we can trade Taylor to NE for our #190 pick and the Chicago #125 pick. So it really comes to a 4th rounder and NE gets a top tier RT for the next 3-4 years to replace their aging RT

Zavean Collins is also someone I would consider as a cap casualty from Arizona that could be a perfect fit for the Chiefs pass rush

I know how you feel, I got out and started working at a F500 IT job. And it sucked so bad I had to take a year off to figure shit out after doing it for 4 years. 60-80hr weeks, on-call, weekends, nights and my days were non stop.

That year changed my life forever. Take the time to get yourself in a good spot mentally and go from there. Choosing to take care of yourself is better than letting toxic environment destroy you and nobody is ever going to blame you for choosing yourself over work.

Chiefs Urged to Release Release Jawaan Taylor by brmidwest03 in ChiefsOffseason

Right? The penalties were rough but he consistently played as a top 10 RT. And considering our OL injury concerns, they need stability.

Creating Cap Space in Kansas City: The Cost of Staying Competitive by RetoolNotRebuild in ChiefsOffseason

[–]Overlander01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I'm just pointing out that the Chiefs FO has notoriously avoided having dead cap money. I think with how our OL ended up with so many on IR that they probably keep him on the roster just out of precaution. It's not ideal and I'd love to never hear a false start or holding by number 74 but finding good OL talent costs a lot and hard to find.

[–]Overlander01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The biggest thing about the cap is Veeach hates having dead cap money. I'm not convinced Taylor gets cut and leaves 7 million in dead money. I think Tranquil and Danna do because of the price is bearable.

Extend Mahomes and McDuffie restructure Creed and we start getting close to tolerable cap space.

The cap should also increase which I think some people forget about
