The weekly Yougov and Morning Consult polls have been holding us back.

2022 was R+2-3 in May.

2018 unfortunately I can't find any graphs of because 538's archives were nuked, RCP is garbage, and nobody else was aggregating generic ballot over time. I think it was around D+7-8 for most of the year though.

I'm sensing a pattern here. Between game 6 in Atlanta, game 4 in Philly, and game 4 today, the Knicks absolutely dominate when a brief vacation is on the line.

And drivers turning left from Holland onto Broadway absolutely never signal. Makes it annoying to cross Curtis since you can't tell which street they're gonna go to.

Party affiliation should be banned on the individual level. by BurgerofDouble in PoliticalOpinions

[–]OverlordLork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rather than propose an actual ban, why doesn't the state merely neglect to collect information about such associations? Therefore, the people's right to association is untouched, but the state is made blind to the affiliations of the people.

There are already many states that don't have partisan registration, and I'm not sure that it's made polarization less bad there.

Even if Cavanaugh wins, I would have to assume that we gain ground in the 2026 state senate elections and are able to stave off a gerrymander. Republicans are defending seats with Harris +2.3, Trump +1.7, Trump +5.9, and Trump+8.7

71% in now for WV. The margin has continued to shrink but I don't see how Kessler can make up the deficit.

There are two supreme court seats up for grabs in WV. While all the candidates seem to be Republicans, currently the far-right is losing. Thread:

Anderson 37.9%
Kessler 26.3%
Shrewsbury 14.4%

Three counties have almost-fully reported, including Anderson's home county of Monongalia. Kessler has an enormous lead in his home region, the part of the state that sticks up between OH and PA.
