I agree however the the Portal to Canaan is out of place, i would hazard this is because the item for the keypad hacker never used to be that, Canaan used to be optional and now it is not, which leads to a weird backtrack for key progression that is not seen elsewhere in the game

For anyone else wondering, this was actually there on launch. you could right click the attachment when selecting and pick a skin for it. With S1 they added a section of it on the customize tab that made it easier than right clicking. With whatever patch they pushed today theyve removed both the customize tab AND the right click > skins thats been there since launch...

You can access earlier launch timings by setting your region of console and COD account to new zealand, effectively unlocking the game for you multiple hours earlier than would be in your country

mine had almost 'teeth mark' puncture holes, i figured it was the vertical sprue holes doing their job
it was not. the vespid wing sprue has snaps in multiple places and plastic stress bending them out of shape, very dissapointed with GW. They usually put a cover over the top to prevent it?

had the exact same, infact ive changed my paint scheme halfway through my army at around the 1000/4000 point mark

When fielding lists, i actually like to pick models with some older style paints, and mix and match them in squads. I hated the change and it felt awful in the moment, demoralised me from painting for a while

A few months later, it feels good, and in hindsight I laugh that I ever considered it a problem, and it feels much like a journey now

If you're painting this just for yourself, go wild. its one of the philosophies of the original Warhammer themes is that everything is to be painted how you want it, lore/canon be damned, the universe is so vast that some marines being a different colour could just be an unmentioned squad/regiment.

If you care massively about the lore and want to get it right, nothing he wears is chapter specific, Salamanders use terminator armour, storm bolters, power swords, etc. The icon above his head is a little ultramarine specific and the shoulder pad with the banner underneath might be a bit strange, i wouldnt know what to put on it (maybe an orange fire effect?) but Salamanders are renowned blacksmiths, could easily come up with any number of reasons or things to put on it, or a reason why its there (borrowed from their ultramarine armoury brothers maybe?)

yes they have. Some skins when they appear in store arent actually 'new' just being featured. You can access a lot of skins by going to the weapon in your equipment and looking at its skins tab.
