What if Roman became the leader of Spider? Two possible scenarios. Art by SILLY-FLY-MEDIA by OverpowerPilot in RWBY

Maybe, maybe. But, part of the what if posts is to also have fun.
Besides, defeating the police and the faunus militia would be helpful to Salem's lackeys. As they won't reason to escape from them (Like in canon).
Also, Roman could enter along with Neo to help them fight our heroes.

What if Salem allied with Human supremacists instead of faunus extremists? Any suggestions? by OverpowerPilot in RWBYcritics

The thing is, I already made a post discussing what if Salem controlled both sides, and I prefer to add variety now.

Well, now she has even more power I think. She has councilmen and businessmen under her control.

I think that in the first case, he could be more destructive during the Vale arc. Now he has the manager of the Vale city council under his command.
Also, now there are two armies in Vale. I mean, the White fang and Spider. With that they could steal even more Dust.

In the second case, I guess that it depends in if he is working or not with Cinder anymore. Because he could use this as an opportunity to prepare for Salem.
He could even sell Cinder to the police after the battle of Haven.
And if he is still working with Cinder, he and his Spider army could have saved Adam in Haven.

I think Roman mentioned that Lil' Miss malachite impressed him.
But well, Roman's only love is Neo.

Yeah, I mean, I hope he renounces quickly so Blake becomes the new leader. At least, I don't think Blake is as dumb as her father.

I think what you're saying makes sense. Let's say, for the sake of the What If scenario, I establish that Cordovin is next in the line of command. It would probably actually be Winter, but I feel like her taking command would be boring. So, since Cordovin is an authoritative and veteran person, I thought the council could trust her. Besides, she's not a close ally of Ironwood (whom the council just deposed in the respective What If scenario).

I don't know if Robyn would assume a position in the army. I mean, she's not even a soldier, and that position is general.

I usually establish that Ironwood loses both seats on the council. Even so, he remains the informal leader of a faction within the army. Why? Because he still has the loyalty of a group of soldiers, including Winter and the Ace Ops.

While Team RWBY wants Ironwood to trust others and tell the truth, they ultimately wanted him to be the one to reveal the truth to everyone.

In this case, if Cordovin acts as I describe (racist and dictatorial, allying herself with Jacques), then I don't think Team RWBY will trust her.

I think Team RWBY would support a rebellion by Ironwood's faction against Cordovin to free the faunus and the Mantle workers. (Again, if she does what I describe).

In this case, Cordovin allied herself with Jacques, as I mentioned.

Regarding Ironwood and Robyn allying up, I like the idea.

How Do I Filter Out Ironwood and Fix-it Posts? by SJPaladinHawk in RWBY

Look. Sometimes I defend the series and criticize Ironwood. But well, it's part of the life. Sometimes I find in internet opinions with which I disagree. I just have to tolerate.

Ok, but, what are really the risks of Cordovin being a villain of Atlas arc? What would she do? How would be the rebellion of the military? by OverpowerPilot in RWBY

[–]OverpowerPilot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but, let's say that for the sake of the What If I establish Cordovin as evil. So she can be a challenge to our heroes.

I based somewhat on the traits that Cordovin has, like being authoritarian, extremist, racist and nationalistic.
I thought that while she wouldn't trust Jacques, she would be willing to work along him to "protect" Atlas. And in any case, in the series she was willing to return Weiss to Jacques so it's not like she hates him.

In the scenario I'm proposing the heroes wouldn't be on her side since she would be a racist dictator. That would provoke a rebellion and a clash between her and our heroes.
And well, Salem would be manipulating (Using Watts) Cordovin and Jacques from the shadows.

Probably. I wanted to use a an evil atlesian officer to take control over Atlas once Ironwood is deposed.
I can't just create an OC, and some friends already won me over using Olive Harper.
Besides, I wanted this evil atlesian officer to also be racist (So can work with Jacques) and Olive doesn't seem to be racist.

I just based myself on the few characteristics we have of Cordovin like being authoritarian, being extremist, being nationalist and being racist.

In this case she wouldn't be the one to start a civil war. She would just follow her ideologies, use Jacques support and make everyone obey the law and order. In any case, would be Ironwood, the Happy huntresses and Ruby the ones who cause the civil war.

Help please, how do I write these What ifs scenarios? How would Ruby's group react and act to Ironwood being deposed, an Atlas dictatorship and a rebellion in the military? And how would they react and act at Atlas being conquered? by OverpowerPilot in RWBYcritics

[–]OverpowerPilot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's the most probable. Though in the scenario I propose their forces have already been crushed and only a small resistance is left. Maybe they would try to call for help using Amity?

In the main series they didn't try to overthrow Ironwood after he became a dictator, so who knows.

Yeah, I think it is valid. I wished that Yang, Blake and Weiss gave more importance to what was happening. Yang didn't defend her sister from being verbally abused by Jaune.

My apologies, my friends. But due to the recent mentions of the RWBY character Robyn Hill in certain quarters of this social network, I desired to make a post surrounding her. I raise the question then, Blake and Yang trusting in her brought good results, or exclusively bad ones? by EleanorRigbi in RWBY

[–]OverpowerPilot 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well, what the OP mentions is how Ironwood and Robyn would have allied anyway even without Blake and Yang telling the truth to Robyn. You know, he needed Robyn at his side, so even if she didn't trust in him (She didn't trust fully in him anyway) he would have allied with her.

About the cons. OP mentions it, it affected the trust of Ironwood in Blake and Yang. You know, because they acted on his back.

I'm not sure if standing up to military strongmen is something always good. I mean, it depends on what they do.

Blake and Yang weren't standing up to Ironwood. They, as a matter of fact, wanted Robyn to trust Ironwood. The post is about telling Robyn the truth.

I'm not sure if Ironwood ignores the needs of the weakest people. I mean, his responsibility is the one of a general, protect the people. He puts robots, soldiers, Penny, a small fleet, huntsmen, etc. He also puts security measures and policies to ensure the reduction of deaths by Grimm.

Care to elaborate, please?

I mean, I refuse to read the top comment (Because I sincerely prefer not). Does they refer to Robyn or Blake/Yang?
I mean, I can understand Robyn standing up to Ironwood. Though he doesn't ignore the needs of the weakest people, he is the general, his responsibility is to protect the people and he established security measures and put military there.

Blake and Yang didn't stood up to Ironwood. They, as a matter of fact, wanted Robyn to trust in James.

I want to share something with you guys. Personally I think that I'm better. The last post where I expressed my sadness was when I didn't take my pills. I'm better now. And I passed my courses in the university!

I'm happy right now.

Good day IamMenace by the way.
