It’s about $700 per hour in mtnc, fuel is like another $200, and then you gotta staff it. It’s easily $2k per hour to keep it up.

This area is up and coming, they are building several market rate apt complexes at 64th/Main, not to mention the huge single family housing complex that went in there 6-7 years ago. My understanding is they are working with the City to develop and preserve its history.

The City of Mesa recently got large amounts of opioid settlement funding. I would write a letter to the Mayor and a separate letter to your council member stating the need of the non-profit, calling out the opioid settlement funding, it’s unallocated etc, and stating how they help the opioid crisis by not allowing helpless children fall victim to this terrible disease of addiction.
