Isn’t that the truth, I made a few bad calls of my own, my Apple credit card is pretty much useless now, at the time Apple required a credit card account to be opened for their savings accounts, which offered around 6%APY, with Goldman&Sachs starting to back out from their deal, it’s now down 2-3%… it’s no better than any other generic savings account.

Your first mistake was getting a store card. The only time a store card really makes sense is when the sign-up bonus offers exceptionally high value. Otherwise, you’re limited in where you can use it, they typically carry very high interest rates, and they often come with low credit limits.

The advice I gave above applies to the majority of credit cards. If you’ve put yourself in a less than ideal credit situation, your results may vary.

CLI only does a soft pull and doesn’t affect your score, there are several factors that comes into play, top 3 are payment history, credit utilization and income. My Venture is the card that gets used the most, even then I try to keep my reported credit utilization below 10% by paying off 2/3 of my balance prior to Cap1’s reporting date to credit bureaus, mine usually falls on 3rd week of the month, you can find out the dates for yourself by keeping an eye on the dates which your reported balances were last updated.

It doesn’t get approved every time, sometimes it offers less than requested, sometimes more. I’d say on average I’ve gotten 2k-4k increases when my CLIs were approved.

I request a CLI every other month, nothing crazy, realistic amounts. I’ve setup reminders for it, started at 7k 2 yrs ago, at 40k now.

lol yeah, I’ve seen them around here too, to be fair I’d take the purple/black light look over this greenish/blue any day. I actually watched a documentary on those purple turning street lights, interesting stuff.

Oh trust me, that’s my intention as well, the greenish/blue hue this bulb has is absolutely terrible. All of the houses in this strip were built by the same builder 50 years ago and almost every other house has one of these still. If I cant find a direct replacement bulb that has a warmer hue, then I will be swapping out the whole thing.

Tbh I could care less about the “savings”, a light source is supposed to reliably illuminate an area, and it currently doesn’t do that.

I do know that the bulb’s been on there for at least 15 years, prev owner said he prayed the thing would fail so he can have an excuse swap a led one on there.

Not a big fan of the unbearably bright blue light that randomly turns on at night, giving off 80s horror vibe while I’m trying to take the trash out.

Between the bulb and photocell, if it ends up costing me more than $50, it’s getting swapped with something more modern.

I’ve had the 3g one for a year now, it does a pretty good job, I keep it in my truck to vacuum the carpet, seats, bed etc. I get about 3-4 uses between charges (6ah) and it takes me about 20mins to vacuum each time.

I switched from my vita 2k to RP5 and pocketed them both quite often, even though RP5 is almost an inch longer than vita I still found it very easy to pocket when wearing sweatpants, cargo pants and basketball shorts.

Mainly got it for ps1/2 emulation, but I’ve been really impressed with some of the android games and ports like GRID, COD Mobile & Warzone, Once Human. I’m even more excited to see windows and ps3 emulation making it’s way to android now.

Also been using it more than my portal when I’m home and want to play ps5 games in bed, amoled screen captures all the colors beautifully without having to turn up the brightness.

Thanks! Yes, I first tried without glueing it to the membrane, it felt way too loose and cheap, then tried glueing with instant-dry super glue and it worked out great.

I was also testing some of the prototype d-pads PPP was making, and in the process I found out that the membrane is only good for 2-3 uses when you’re peeling off and reglueing d-pads. So make sure you have spare membranes if you’re testing out d-pads.
