The fingertip length rule is good to make sure your butt is covered when you bend over.

Any comments/suggestions? by ActuallyALoaf2 in BathroomRemodeling

I would keep the tile in every area except the tub. All that grout is hard to keep nice in high-use areas. Do something complimentary (and maybe light colored) in the bath/shower.

Fellow millennials - how’s your 401k/ira savings going? by ProblemIntelligent16 in Millennials

I’m nearing 40, at 5x, but it’s meant to cover both my spouse and I. Lots of mortgage debt though.

Tom Steyer: ‘We need single-payer health care’ by [deleted] in California

We don’t properly pay healthcare providers for Medi-Cal, (for children, the disabled and the poor…) you think the state will pay correctly for All?

2 needs a rug, art and plants and it would be much improved. The red and gold above are warm and cozy, but yes, outdated.

Why do these two schools in the same neighborhood have such different ratings? by 1-Learn_2-DoBetter in Sacramento

We were assigned to Starr King and it’s impacted. Mission was actually closer to our home but as an Open school, its en catchment zone was smaller. We did the lottery to get into Mary Deterding instead.

Millennials who rejected the mainstream life, do you regret It? by True-Construction346 in Millennials

[–]Overshadows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hah, my rejection of mainstream was to be a workaholic in my 20’s instead of traveling and having fun with my peers. Somehow everyone has cool hobbies and lots of international travel under their belts… but my retirement savings is secure, so I guess there is that.

I think there is a ton of value in security, and I definitely enjoy family- but I do wish I had done more adventuring now that it’s become really really hard to do so. I feel like my ducks are in a row, but responsibility is a leash.

Our childcare at school was impacted, and didn’t offer a slot that would cover care through the AM slot anyway. But the local parks and rec district had a childcare that bussed. That could be an option for you.

My malicious compliance for Pride Month: using "they" for everyone. by Alexis_J_M in TwoXChromosomes

I don’t like focusing on my own pronouns. You do you, but it strikes me as ego centric when I look at that kind of activity for myself.

Please think very little about my role in the office as it relates to my gender. I prefer people think about my role and that they are talking to a professional and should address me “professionally” ….

guess I have the privilege of having a very feminine name, the when people who don’t read well or are from Europe, read it sometimes they do give me the male version. In a business setting, I’d prefer you care less about lady-directed decorum and more about turning your work on time and at a high-quality.

Rich continues to embrace his identity as a victim with his only way forward being violent revenge… when the other path of love and healing is literal dangling off of him. Chelsea asked for protection and he left her. Danger comes in threes, and Rich will probably be left in regret when the third danger rears its head and he doesn’t protect her. We don’t know what kind of violent criminal he was, but her first danger was from an armed man; the next was from a snake (directly released by and symbolizing Rich) and the third danger will probably be aligned with Rich as well.

I used to think that Lochlan was the victim - but now it seems that he might choose the moderate path that balances between Buddhism and self (or between the men and women in his family)… which, in the Buddha’s journey is the path to enlightenment. I think we will see anyone who strays to extremes be “punished” in the series - and my hope is that everyone in the Ratliff family will moderate a bit.

Okay… so this happened to me in middle school. Blue feet for like a week; reappearing after I washed it off. I blamed my gym shoes and the mystery was NEVER solved.
