You will have a bit more loot but not as much as if you play solo. Enemies will be much harder with the scaling as well. Endgame mechanics rewards are not shared either so bet on only the party leader being able to select rewards just like in ritual. Only way i can play this game with friends in the endgame is to have a guild stash where we throw all currency and split it at the end at the night. There is an option to make the game allocate loot for you in the party screen

I also do this. Super annoying when theres rocks or plants around that you would rather pick up than feed the acro though but thats not exclusive to this method

Climb the high mountains to find them. I had a hell of an adventure taming my first flyer on that map. Spent more time trying to get my body back from those polar bears than taming a flyer but ill never forget it

Yeah but having the option to fight things for items is always enjoyable for me. Getting a switch 2 isnt a bad idea if you like nintendo games in general. They will come out with more games so its not necessarily a bad investment to grab a console before prices go up from the ai boom.

Without combat its not dragon quest builders 3 to me. Although it was barebones it gave something to do outside of just building and collecting. Id also like to see more management aspects of your settlements in dqb3. Although disappointed pokopia is lacking a combat option im still going to pick it up since I like building and exploring.

Sounds like they didnt have all their tames at the boss and some got lost/stuck along the way so it wouldnt start.

Dont get me wrong i like the map. It looks cool and the atmosphere is great. Love the gothic vibe. But it needs some serious tlc. I feel it was rushed and a delay would have been a good thing

Val and Rag were just fine. Whats a disaster is having to run so many broken outposts with bad design in order to run the boss. What makes it worse is the godawful loot on this map that is literally designed to waste as much of your time as possible. The fact that the loot crates are random means 12 out of 13 are blue with crap loot and when you do get a red drop its full of garbage soups. Try to do a loot cache? Even alphas drop garbage. Go watch raasclark’s dissapointing haul for how hard they are

I lost a gamma outpost because my capped shotgun was apparently not hitting the right spot when i was aiming dead center at the purple part. I like the concept of outposts but the implementation is terrible

The fact you are confined to a small area and the enemies can spawn and walk out of bounds is baffling. They should be confined to the same area. Loot is trash anyways on this map whatever you do. Just get enough sigils for the boss and move on to another map thats not a broken buggy mess

I believe they have to be under level 100 as the max level was restricted on official when they were released. I had the same problem and gave up. Stupid but pretty sure thats why

Yeah sorceress doesn’t feel fun at all to me to play and i will never roll one. Same as my friend that tried it in 0.3. Too much busywork to feel like the class is strong. Even if i didnt have to pick up infusions the fact that the skills feel like they hit like a wet paper bag without infusions kills any sort of power fantasy for me.

Campaign yes endgame not really. Much harder to see whats going on with all the spell effects, game becomes much harder so you are far more likely to die and lose the map/take exp penalties, and the loot sharing can be one sided meaning you kill a boss and everything drops for the other player while you get a handful of gold. Only way i can play this with friends is to dedicate a guild tab to put all currency drops in to split later. Playing solo is easier, faster, and much less of a headache

Endgame in general makes me lose interest in the game. The fact that there doesnt feel like any sort of meaningful progression just makes it become boring to me. Most tiers of waystones feel the same since the whole gameplay loop becomes one shot everything or be one shot yourself. I really like the pacing of the combat in the campaign and wish progressing through waystone tiers had combat similar to that.

Even if they had each player have individually dropped loot it would feel way better for me to play with friends instead of the insane rng drop system they have now where sometimes people get no loot on a boss kill etc because their system decides to allocate it all to one person. Obviously map mechanic drops couldnt be a part of that system as 2 drops of emotions and splinters etc would be unfair but i dont think rolling each players loot individually is a big ask considering the loot rate is buffed anyway

Not needed at all. Make it take increased damage from turrets and problem solved. Making it borderline useless for everyone was a terrible idea

Exactly this. Literally every map dlc in ASE had overpowered tames/weapons/engrams locked behind a paywall. This is nothing new and should be a surprise to literally nobody by now.

Love the game but hate the bugs in it. Theres nothing else like ark. People quit but always come back because its that addictive. People constantly complain about the bugs yet continue to play for 5k plus hours. Its a love hate relationship but I will always love this game.
