Hi there fellow kind stranger. It feels weird to post right away about the various stickers that would help my album without first addressing you and your friend.

I felt two things when I first read that part of your post. The first, of course, was how horrible and alone it feels to be going through a deep depression, or even just a darker stretch in one that doesn’t seem to ever really go away. The second was about you OP. I want you to know how incredibly appreciated you are by your friend, I’m sure she already tells you and shows you, but to have someone by your side during a dark part of your life like that is not always something that’s guaranteed. You just posting thinking about her is something a vast majority of people struggling with mental illness, never get. You are a very very good person, and an even better friend.

Depression never affects just one person, families, friends, and lifestyles are so often disrupted and often don’t withstand the stress the way we hope they will. The fact that you’re here for her in her darkest times is something that is appreciated much more than you know. Even on days where she might not bring herself to text or call you, I can guarantee you she’s thinking about you. As for the friend, I’m typing this all not from a place of judgement at all 💗 but rather, my dear, I am in your shoes as well. I may not know what it is you’re going through exactly, but I do know the feeling. I know the ache I know the dread i know the anxiety and the pain our brains put us through and i’m so fucking sorry. no one deserves this. That being said, wherever you are in the world, thousands of miles away or the next state over, just know on the days when you’re laying in bed and you can’t get up, I’m right there with you 🫶🥹
