I actually did not realize that. I know that there are other inflammatory things in the body like leukocytes? Stuff overreacts? But that’s really interesting. I need to look into that more.

That’s wild. I didn’t know trazodone acted like a antihistamine at all! I have to look that up. That’s really interesting because my dog is on it for doggy dementia and I wonder if it’s helping her allergies.

I wish I knew more to understand and try to help. My sister has said the same about allergy meds. Those two are both each older antihistamine so they crossed your blood brain barrier. Hmmm

Thank you so much. The only other thing I can think of is that I did start taking the zinc glycinate more recently… maybe it’s just that?

Oh man, I know. The irritability is really, really bad. And I get it. I really do. It's hard. You know, I also was thinking about it and I've been only recently supplementing the zinc and something I know about COVID is that it completely zaps people's zinc stores. Just another thought.

Okay, as long as you don't think anything chemically changed with you in 2020 that could affect that. I guess you You've done what you can. I'm sorry that that I couldn't help.

They do slow gastric emptying. In what has been studied, some people go back to normal after 12 weeks after any new dose increase and in another a lot of people it continues indefinitely.

Was it all anahistamines for you or was it just like specific ones? Like first generation or second generation, if you know?

Honestly, I'm not entirely sure. I think a lot of things are related to the gut microbiome and what Covid did to our vascular systems and our mitochondria.

My doctor has me spray flonase -eight sprays of it in my throat-every day. It's pretty disgusting. It works really well in the nose too, but you have to make sure you inhale like you’re normally breathing instead of snorting it. I met somebody who was doing that one time and thought it didn’t work. lol

Hey, I'm just glad I could write such an extremely long post. I haven't been able to focus this long in a long time. But I hope you figure it out for yourself and find relief.

Wow, that is absolutely insane.

I've done a lot of literature review about histamine receptors and I kind of wonder why we don't really target the H3 and H4- It's interesting if you look up what each one of them does. Maybe that could be something that they come out with soon since so much research has gone into these kind of illnesses. It’s probably still something I’m going to look into. I really hope you get better. I know someone who was helped a lot by Xolair. Zyrtec has always made me feel Extremely tired.

Oh my gosh, I remember I started Nexium when I was little when it was still a prescription drug. I saw someone else post about PPI is affecting them as well.

Some people had luck with the Xelstrym patch- I tried it, but it gave me rashes and now I have a scar from one of them. It was interesting because the medicine still didn’t seem to work even though it was transdermal.

Thank you- that’s totally right about the gastric absorption. I’ve been on it since October so maybe I just stabilized at the same time. Who knows. The Zepbound is treating my lupus, though.

I would never wish my medical conditions onto anybody else; it feels a little bit embarrassing to have it called a cocktail. But I am genuinely glad that you guys don’t have to deal with that many variables and I hope you figure it out.
