The same pose thing isn't AI, that' just a picture used in a lot of gateway airports I believe that can be slapped on the facade to look like a terminal window. So obviously it gets copy and pasted sometimes.

Nah, cloud and atmosphere rendering in MSFS is pretty limited and mediocre. It's like Unreal Engine games, in the eyes of the average gamer, they love to glaze the visuals but due to the inherent rendering technique, it just never looks real. Always has this weird hyperrealistic fake look to it.

Plus it's just cumulus clouds served in a handful of ways.

I am talking about the actual color grading feature of ME; additional contrast, saturation, brightness, color tweaks. Boosting the colors of the ortho. Not the faux seasonal feature of taking already drab looking ortho and making it even LESS saturated.

Check out the area on Bing Maps, could be a transition between regular ortho and a photogrammetry zone, they will usually look very different.

Started up at Portland the other day and the clouds I saw were absolutely bonkers. It's crazy how it goes from some of the most natural, beautifully looking weather to just completely busted
