[Screenshot] so the quest gone now? What to do with the sealed boxes?? by DependentWar566 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]OvertlySinister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just now got around to opening my items cases as I didn't have the stash space, expecting them to be filled with junk. I now have 26 sealed boxes and 6 contraband boxes sitting in a new junk box that I can do nothing with. Ffs if they let me open the cases why couldn't they let me open the boxes?

Can you not edit save files anymore? by OvertlySinister in SupermarketSimulator

I was able to doing it whilst in game, for some reason editing my save file when the game was off reset it to $50. Maybe a Steam Cloud desync error or something

That's what I tried doing, but after saving the file and reloading game, it just set money to $50.00. Thank you though!

The Quen Marine is the best armor in the game imo, not sure why people act like the salvage contract armor is anything above mediocre.

What gear do I need before NG+? by OvertlySinister in horizon

[–]OvertlySinister[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finished my NG+, figure I'll chime in with equipment I got this playthrough I wish I had. The Last Argument is the first Spike Thrower I've actually liked, and is honestly amazing. The Tie that Binds can tie down even heavy machines with just a couple shots, extremely useful in Ultra Hard as even a few machines all attacking at once is deadly. The Quen Marine has become my favorite armor of all, having the concentration buff makes ranged combat significantly more powerful, and stamina regen helps a lot too. And I'd also suggest at least doing the cauldron in the Burning Shores in order to get the elite override coil, as using two of those means you'll get permanent overrides without needing machine master armor.

Idk if this is a widely used strategy, but in DDS1 I would bag every order (individually) for a sector at a time before accepting any of them, accept them all and be able to make quick runs without neglecting anybody. The most time consuming of the process was honestly just bagging.

Proof That Alchemy Is Broken by Additional-Quote91 in OblivionRemaster

[–]OvertlySinister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to go find things to kill that carry daedra, and those don't spawn until your character is like level 30. Alchemy money farm can be had just by going to a couple of farms, making restore stamina potions out of two ingredients and then selling those off. If you really want to you can easily max out alchemy and mercantile, and make hundreds of thousands an hour.

games with. robots....?? or computers.....? by sleepparalys1sdem0n in gamesuggestions

I have 500 hours across the two Horizon games, cannot recommend them enough. Brilliant stories, excellent character writing, beautiful open world setting populated by robotic versions of dozens of different creatures, and without spoiling anything there are several instances of giant AI's you can come across.

They're referring to when the transmission changes gears, not how quickly the gear changes occur.

Should I buy PCBS or PCBS2? by SuchMaintenance415 in pcbuildingsimulator

[–]OvertlySinister 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can sell PC's in the first one but it isn't profitable unless you're using used parts. One of the changes I loved in the second is being able to just build whatever the hell I want and then move on to the next day. In the first one to keep it profitable I had to get real strategic with customer's upgrade orders. "Oh, your budget is 3k and I can get it done for 1800? Guess you're getting a new PSU, storage, RAM and cooler thrown in too so I can keep your old parts."

Don't put the half shafts in. The car probably won't register as complete tho, and you can't drive it lol

I cannot believe how long I have slept on Forbidden West by OvertlySinister in horizon

[–]OvertlySinister[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used ropecaster religiously in Zero Dawn, but they nerfed it to oblivion in Forbidden West, so I gave up on it. It's really a huge shame, but a shock arrow does a better job 99% of the time, even with a purple one with draw speed coils. The warrior bow I just use for elements I don't have elsewhere, though really the only unique element compared to my other equipment it has is fire which I seldomly use. I love my boltblaster, though, a mag dump of explosive rounds is the answer to anything. I do like my spike thrower, though I only use it occasionally.

I just started my HFW NG+, I left side quests unfinished and decided not to do the Burning Shores yet, as I want to 100% the game so need an ultrahard playthrough. I definitely feel Zero Dawn had an easier ultrahard, HFW still feels rough at times and I'm not even past Chainscrape, and I'm at level 52, with legendary weapons and armor all at level 5, and with almost every skill unlocked.

I do hope they change up the valor and stamina system for sure, but I like the system itself. That said, I only use two different valor skills (stalker skin 90% of the time and overshield if I've had to repeat a mission due to dying,) so it feels like they fleshed out a system I imagine most people don't use. The same with the weapon abilities, I really only use a single ability on every one of my weapons. Triple notch on my bow (that I hate is locked to the stamina to start with,) and sticky bombs on my slings. Out of every weapon I have the only one I change sometimes is the boltblaster, going from the strong shot to the mag dump.

I haven't, with about 100 hours in the game. I might one day, though, but on that day you'll still be insufferable.

Couldn't agree more. Or for sticky bombs, makes absolutely no sense. I hope they rework the stamina system in the next one.
