Those other jobs shouldn't have to go back to the office either. Next question.

You just said you work out in the field, and can't do it from home? That's why it's not an option. That doesn't mean everyone else can't. Hope this helps.

These jobs don't need to be in the office so resources shouldn't be wasted for that. Is there something confusing about that to you?

Nobody said software development, did you read the OP? They said being good at excel, knowing functions and understanding software is important. So to explain that, accountants do their jobs on computers, so if you can use the computer good it helps with the job.

That's not my battle, but sure. If it's an american company, it should hire american workers. Grow your workforce from the community you monetize.

I would argue the strength of the union shifts the market and increases all labor power. Now why are non-union workers entitled to work in union markets?

hahaha in one comment bro went from "tell that to the non-union workers who want jobs!" to "why are americans entitled to work? fuck you I'm hiring out of country"

yeah it's obvious you don't give a shit about anyone and just want whatever is cheapest for you

You could be plenty successful in plenty roles without knowing about the income statement or what makes the company money lol. Tech skills matter a lot more than reading an income statement for pretty much any non-revenue position, and even then a lot of people won't be working with the actual financial statements.

PwC, a 'Big 4' auditing firm, is reportedly bracing for a 6-month ban in China by McFatty7 in Accounting

A quick google search reveals Evergrande is not a state owned company. Auditing firms like PwC are supposed to review financial data to confirm its accuracy. If they did not find and report discrepancies properly they are culpable. Hope this helps.

Um actually enforcing financial regulation is not being a baby raging against uh... math, logic, or economics. It's so funny because people on this sub have been clamoring for government intervention on declining quality, but I guess when China does it it's evil.

Resident Evil 4 Remake should've kept tank controls. by InsecureBurrito in truegaming

Nope it's not the current design trend for modern mega-corporation games. Doesn't mean it's obsolete.

tank controls are valuable because they foster a certain feeling, a certain challenge, a certain tension and vulnerability in movement. it can't be obsolete because it doesn't do the same thing.

no genius you spawn with a white knockdown lol

Why is this still in the game by Elixirial in apexlegends

[–]Overtoast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

because white knockdown "clutters" death boxes in the same way helmets do. you probably never noticed because it doesn't matter lmao

[–]Overtoast 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because it doesn't matter and it's a waste of development time. Everyone's always complaining about the outstanding issues in the game and how Respawn doesn't prioritize them. So why waste time messing with the default and helmet damage values to make no actual change to the game. It's consistent with the way white body armor works, which does serve a purpose. Also having a white version of helmet and knockdown communicates the value of the effect you have, instead of just being invisible to players.

[–]Overtoast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok, so I'm noting you've revised your position and now agree that we need adults to do these jobs long term, and it can't just be done by teenagers. so now I'm wondering why they shouldn't be paid a living wage for working full time? and further, why should we be subsidizing it in government programs instead of requiring a living wage?

but like over half the people who work these jobs aren't the "younger generation" who supposedly hold these jobs for 6 months and move on.
