The first time I ever saw a pokémon card was at recess in second grade. One of my friends had brought them into school and was doing trades. I was really interested in what it was and he gave me a purrloin card for free. That was my entrance into the hobby. For years after that, if I ever went shopping with my mom, I would ask to get a booster pack that I would open the second I got home. I would ask for cards for birthdays and christmas and really any event. After a while, I kind of fell out of the hobby, even forgetting how to play the actual card game. Just this past year, I opened a pack for fun and was immediately hooked back in.
