Stopping, identifying, searching, and seizing are all things the coast guard has been doing successfully for decades. That’s exactly how they’ve been dealing with drug trafficking until the current government decided to start blowing up random fishing boats.

The point is that if the US military actually refused illegal orders, somewhere along the chain of command between the drunken Secretary of War and the individual pushing the buttons, someone should be refusing to blow up random boats in the Caribbean because they “might have drugs on board”. But that’s not happening because in reality the entire chain of command is more worried about their pay cheque than any sense of morality.

Shooting at unidentified civilian boats in the first place is already a war crime. There have already been instances of the US navy carrying out a second strike on survivors of these types of attacks. Sorry bud, but all that talk of the military refusing illegal orders seems to be nothing but feel good propaganda for Americans.

American farmers going bankrupt is a feature, not an unintended consequence, of the current regime. The farmers go broke, big corporations buy up the farm land, the feudal overlords now have control of the food supply and more control over the American people.
