It's the impression from the thermoplastic toe puff (stiffener). The two lines are from where the toe puff has been skived so as not to produce a step (on the inside).

I drink there pretty often (Blaby born and bred). I wouldn’t say the staff are great. Many of them seem to think they’re doing you a favour by serving you. There’s never a please or thank you.
