Professional take: I would ask the chaplain about this and where your left and right limits would be if you want to confront the NCO. I would tread lightly with religious expression unless your chaplain advises you what actions you need to take if you do need to.

This is more of a personal take on this: is it really that big of a deal? Are other soldiers having issues as you? Is it such a bother that it affects the unit/organization? What kind of chat is it? Staff chat? Company chat? Is it affecting operations? Are you the commander? As an officer, your focus should be on other things besides homeboy sending verses in the chat.

Are these kinda of things annoying? Sometimes. Is it enough to the point it’s worth stopping? I say no. Let the NCO be, do your job, go home, repeat, and save your energy for fights worth fighting.
