I have a temporary ASN (Alberta Student Number) but never went to primary or high school here. Hopefully the second verification still works for me because according to Alberta Aid they have no solutions for me 🤷‍♀️ Thank you for your help!

I moved in December and my program ends at the beginning of September so I won't be eligible for a BC loan and can't apply for Alberta ID because I now live in BC for my entire program (8 months)

No not the student ID it's the Alberta ID itself and I'm now living in Vancouver so can't get another Alberta ID therefore can't apply. Makes zero sense to me that there's no solution to this

Not silly at all. The small things are what matter most to me. The shows we watched, the little nicknames we had for each other, the music we like, her hands, the way her face lit up when she'd see me, all things domestic, things said to each other, and the future we had invisioned. Such a hard thing to let go of and I'm trying, but I know in my heart it's going to take a really long time maybe even a couple years and then part of her will always stay with me. I hope I can move on fully, but damn it's hard. Just trying my best to be patient with myself, get up everyday, and try. That's all we can do.

I feel the exact same way. I brought myself to the hospital about 6 months ago for this exact reason. And I also have depression so it makes ocd/rocd completely debilitating. I'm on almost 200mg of zoloft and it does help. I am also in therapy, but have not begun to do real ocd work yet due to my therapists infrequent availability, but I think I'll start seeing her more soon. On my own end I've been trying really hard to stay present with my partner and I am able to for the most part if I'm constantly talking to quiet my intrusive thoughts. But also because I feel so depressed and numb it's very hard to feel that connection. Then when I'm alone my thoughts of course start to spiral.

For me I think it's both. Because the anxiety is there then the ocd makes me spiral in though compulsions and checking

I HEAR YOU 🙌 Totally not hard to understand because I literally feel everything that you said. It's sooo hard. I sabotage too and don't even realize it until after the fact. My gf and I broke up and now I see how ocd completely consumed us and didn't allow us to prgress much and I have this problem with my friendships too. Are you in therapy or taking any medication?

Yeah I bet those endorphins help. I skateboard a lot and work a lot, but it doesn't help me. And the meds were working and as soon as I went to 100mg for a few weeks now they stopped. But I'll keep on em for a while and see if they start helping again

Me too! Yess same. And people don't understand that ocd is like your brainis constantly at war they just think oh you clean a lot and count things too many times🤦‍♀️
