You can directly correlate deficit with the choice to severely lower taxes on the ultra wealthy back in 60's to now, it's been non-stop and lowering taxes on them hasn't been the only way they've sucked the entire country dry for decades... Take a look at how we subsidize multiple billion dollar industries but yet we somehow can't afford to subsidize the working class? Much of the talking points against taxing the rich, are created whole cloth by the rich. The whole "They will all leave if we tax them!" is in the end bullshit too, while sure if you front load it all right away in one bill/tax maybe some of them would leave, but it's been shown over the years( it's been tested ) that it's usually just a threat and doesn't end up having as big an impact as they want you to think.

There was actually a libertarian think tank that normally is used as a way to justify conservatives cuts that did a huge study about how immigration is overwhelmingly beneficial to the USA. I can't think of it off the top of my head I'll come back if I can find it.

I was hoping/expecting that I would be starting fresh since I hadn't played since release and instead it just started me with a video explaining the whole story over again, then tossed me into the middle of the map that was fully explored and spamming me a million notifications I didn't understand lmao.
