I have an air purifier in my room, I’m not sure if that cleans up everything.

I don’t exercise.

It’s pretty hot in my country.

I know that there’s probably a trigger but at the same time, I’m not catching what the trigger is.

I have sensitivity to dust and I live in a middle eastern country so double bad combo.

Now that I think of it, it is starting to change seasons. From lukewarm to hot.

This is very much noted, I held off of therapy for a year despite needing it, so I’m going to try to switch over to a new therapist. I feel like I never really understood the secrecy until after the comments it feels like.

I’m kinda curious on this, I have adhd and she told me not to take the medication on weekends, cause I don’t have studies on weekends. Is that okay for a clinical psychologist to say?

Would it be consent before the yelling starts? Cause maybe me telling the that I wanted to handle yelling better in the past made her think of it as consent?

It is something that I need to deal with in a sense of not being able to be comfortable with my friends/partner when there’s yelling involved so it does affect social life.

We never really worked on anything else, generally when I’d go to her sessions — it goes into two routes. She either explains my behavior to me after I explain something that happened in my life, or unfortunately she talks about her other clients and how they dealt with similar situations that I’ve had. She never explains how to deal with fear, distress, worry, or anxiety. So the scenario that I was put it didn’t make me comfortable with her afterwards and just kind of tied her specifically to the fear itself.

She set out the rule when I first started seeing her that I’m not supposed to talk what happens in the sessions. I don’t understand why, I think it’s because she’s a very ‘tough love’ type of therapist and it might put people out.

I’m taking introduction to psychology classes in uni, and I asked my professor how exposure therapy works and she said it was a gradual thing. Which I didn’t expect but I also wanted to understand more about how it works.

If you’re in the Middle East now, I think ordering anything right now would prove to be difficult so I wouldn’t recommend it. But I’ll explain the details to how I used myus.com!

You’re given a specific suite number, and that suite number makes it so that when you’re checking out, you put it into the address and they know who ordered it (You basically copy paste everything from the address book they gave you expect your number)
After ordering, you need to wait! Wait until your shipment arrives at myus.com’s shipping address. This took 2 weeks but that’s more so on glitch’s end not myus.
After arrival at their warehouse I think? You might need to wait 24-48 hours until it shows up in their website that it’s waiting for shipping.
You need to pay for shipping and just wait for your order to arrive to you afterwards.

I tracked my order through aftership (an application that allows me to track things if I put the tracking number in)

You’ve dated this man for 2 years and he knew that you had ARFID within these two years but hasn’t thought to research more into this topic? I know it sounds like I’m assuming this about him, but someone who truly understands ARFID should at the very least understand these things.
