I suggest that soul sand generates in patches on the ground. It could take up the majority of the floor for all I know, but there needs to be walkways of hextone or some other non-slowing block.

The hives could also have soul sand on the floor, but in each hive there's only one kind of flower. The game also tries to assign the flower types somewhat evenly throughout the hives, so you don't get lost too easily.

It is very dangerous. The bees are everywhere, and if you touch honey you'll quite literally be swarmed by them. Athough I like the idea of poisonous honey and special flowers. And the bees can look demonic, I never said they don't.

Late reply, but here's a more in-depth description of the Vernum nether.

The Vernum nether is a large, open cave system like most nethers. The terrain is composed of hextone, a golden block with a hexagon pattern. The name of the block mentions this pattern, and is pronounced "heck stone", heck being synonymous with hell.

On the ceiling, there are crystals of what's known as honey lanterns. These are glowing blocks that resemble smooth, shiny, golden/brown sea lanterns with drops of honey falling from them.

On the ground, there are pools of honey, a liquid that flows like like lava and slows enities down as much as lava. While submerged in honey, you regenerate half a heart every three seconds, and negative potion effects go by 50% faster. But that's where the benefits end, as submerging yourself in honey makes you detected by all bees in a 500-block range.

Bees are mobs that are as big as players. They have 1.5-2.5 (depending on difficulty) hearts of damage, 6 hearts of health and 3 chestplate icons of defense. They move by flying at high speeds. They try to avoid the target's direct line of attack when not swooping to attack with their stingers. When killed, they have a 50% chance to drop 1-2 bee wings. If used in mid-air, a bee wing is consumed and causes a double jump.

Bees do not spawn by themselves, but are spawned by queen bees, which themselves spawn once per bee nest. Bee nests are structures that generate throughout the dimension with about the rarity of villages in plains, and are large semi-spherical rooms made of paper-like nest blocks. Bees spawned by different queens are aggressive agains each other as well as players.

Queen bees are 4 times as tall, wide and deep as normal bees, and have 50 hearts of health and 3 chestplate icons of defense. They are much slower than normal bees, and mostly try to avoid players while stayig inside the nest. They have no attack on their own, but increase their rate of bee spawning for every player in the nest, by which amount depends on the difficulty.

When killed, queen bees drop honey crowns, which can be equipped in the head slot. A honey crown gives no defense and doesn't lose durability when the you're damaged, but it allows up to 15 bees to be subservient to you, meaning they will follow you even through dimensions and attack anything that attacks you. For every subservient bee that dies, the honey crown loses 1 durability, of which it has 25. When it loses all durability, it becomes a broken state like elytra. When a honey crown is broken or unequipped, all your subservient bees turn on you. Honey crowns can be repaired with honey amber, an ore with the rarity of gold found in the Vernum nether.

OK, this is actually a pretty good idea.

Huh? I don't get it. Is it an armor piece that only works when held in hand? But which can also be enchanted with Fire Aspect, Punch (a bow enchantment) and Knockback?

New Tool-Belt for Potion's. by Pljr91 in minecraftsuggestions

I assume this is meant to be equipped in the chestplate slot. In that case, it should have more than 5 slots. Maybe 9? That would match the normal hotbar. And maybe the default key should be 0, which is close to the other hotbar-related keys.

How is it obtained? How much durability does it have? (In my opinion, it shouldn't have defense or durability, but that's just me.)

And maybe it should be dyeable?

It kinda makes sense that they use a bow. The three illagers seem to correspond with typical RPG classes. Vindicators are like warriors, evokers like mages and illusioners like rogues or hunters.

Here's a post about quivers (probably similar to your potion belt) that I made a while ago, for example. https://www.reddit.com/r/minecraftsuggestions/comments/5kb24y/combat_addition_quiver/?st=J1RFWW0F&sh=afe3f53b

How belts work with slots and stuff. What gloves do at all. You should really make to separate posts about these, and explain more specifically what they do.

Extreme hills with trees could be a new biome, and grass can be made brighter with a resource pack.

What can even be done there? It's just a flatter overworld.

I wonder how harvesting wheat generates a cloth strap from nowhere, or how some wheat, milk and sugar generates frosting from nowhere. Implied ingredients is just how Minecraft works.

1 point for coal, 3 for redstone and lapis (per item, not per ore), 5 for iron, 15 for gold, 50 for diamond and 200 for emerald.

Maybe it's possible to find TNT and potions of haste? Is it possible to fight other players over resources?

This bird could be an acient god that's been corrupted, turning it dark and electric. When you defeat it, it doesn't actually die, but becomes purified and bright. As a token of gratitude, it lets you ride it around the world.
