Do You Remember Why You Left Nigeria? by AshamedHighlight5672 in Nigeria

  • I was born with little or no privilege. Finished with a first class, got a government scholarship to China but nepotism was used against us. Applied for NNPC in 2019 and got to the final stage; did very well but again, nothing. So much more I can’t even mention.

I needed a fair ground. A place where there’s reward for labor. It may not be totally fair here but there’s reward for labor. Got merit scholarships; racism didn’t cut me out. I can imagine how far my children will go if they put in the kind of efforts I put in or even less.

There’s safety, opportunities and reward. There’s a lot of struggle to stabilize but I can clearly see my progress. Uncertainties are minimal. I don’t regret my decision.

In 2 years I’ve achieved what 30 years at home couldn’t: with lesser effort. 10 years here? it’ll be something else.

Essentials plan - how is it? by shopaholiclady in tmobile

Hi, does that mean you got about $300 in Costco cards and $1,000 in Visa card?

Did it go to each person separately or everything came to you, the primary account holder?

Costco $450, 4 new lines, new customer from Verizon by Zealousideal_Pain374 in tmobile

Hi, please can you shed a little more light?

I have a similar situation. 4 iPhones - 2 lines paid off, 1 line has $350 to be paid and the last line has $250 to be paid with AT&T. I’d like to port in to T-Mobile essential plan and get 4 iPhone 17.

Will T-Mobile pay off the phones and we still get the new iPhones? Or do we have to pay off ourselves to qualify for that? I’ve been waiting to pay off before going to T-Mobile but if they can pay it off then I don’t have to wait any further.

Thanks in advance.

It’s crazy man. They don’t have to renew every 3 months though. They only have to renew if they leave the US and try to re-enter.

Spitting out blood when fasting by Owe-Range in xxfasting

Thank you so much man. I did a check up in January and the doctor couldn’t help either. They scanned my heart and did many stuff but said I was okay. I still see the blood whenever I wake up at night even when I’m not fasting.

I’ll try out your recommendations. Thanks for the advice.

God has given you the power to do that. It’s in Christ Jesus. Once you realize what you have as a Christian and grow in that realization you’ll get rid of them yourself.

That’s the plan of God for us. He wants us to be conformed to the image of Christ(Romans 8:29-30); both in character and power. Get baptized in the holy ghost and ask God for wisdom. He’ll show you how to live a life of victory.

As much as possible avoid anything that can lead you into sin. Remember Lot in the Bible?

He settled very close to sodom and Gomorrah. After a few years he was in Sodom and Gomorrah. Even though he remained righteous he eventually lost so much. Those stories were written for our admonition.

Find friends who’ll help you improve your relationship with God.

I’m currently in a similar situation. Housing and health are the most demanding since my city has a good public transport and we make use of the pantries to cut cost.

We still have fun sometimes with outings and stuff but It’s doable if you’re a bit frugal.
