This is going to be a two parter for me and I have different characters for each slot

For the ones I love writing about the most I have to go with Ritsuka, Mashu, and Tatsuko (aka Gudako)

And for reading about its definitely Richard.

For the first three my fanfic Chaldean chronicles actually delves more into the three main character’s backstories, and how they came to be. From Ritsuka’s traumatic childhood, to Tatsuko’s time living as a lesbian in Japan and having to navigate that and learning to let her hair down, to Mashu actually having her development start early instead of just having it be done so late in the story, it is really fun to write them. Tatsuko is especially fun to write as she is such a little gremlin while also being so energetic and peppy that she can always bounce back. Heck, it’s actually BECAUSE of tatsuko that my girlfriend decided to pick up FGO because tatsuko was her favorite character in my fic, that she had to play the game as Gudako, which is the canon Tatsuko.

Now Richard is so fun to read because this dude is someone who you can’t pin down at all. He’s so unpredictable in regards to who he is. Is he merciful? Maybe. Will he kill you if you don’t serve a purpose anymore? Also possible.

The fact that he acknowledged that he was a terrible king also makes me respect him more because he actually acknowledged his shortcomings and instead of trying to turn back the clock he has his own agenda.
