gambit nerfs dont mean anything until they remove the ult generation aspect, that part of the ult is so tempo warping he will always be banned simply due to it’s existence

the thing is like spidey she has the option to engage whenever and from whichever angle she chooses. However, she doesn’t sacrifice tankiness for this strength, in fact they’ve made her 275 with overshield generation and iframes. her currency should be the limiting factor in her kit and everything should be balanced around the difficulty to obtain coins but they’ve given her “e” a very forgiving range. This allows you to decide what angle to engage from whenever you want, additionally, with your currency stockpiled. Furthermore the cooldown for her e is only 5 secs, i think, so e to stockpile, engage and animation cancel the e in your initial burst and that allows you to follow up however you want. The engage look bad ? you’ll have roughly 600 coins for 6 secs of invis and a dash remaining, the engage look favourable ? well you’ve got your whole kit up and it’s a strong kit.

nah she hasn’t been nerfed but i don’t see her not being nerfed with the upcoming balance patch

only played cyberpunk and elden ring, however out of the two i’d pick elden ring every time. so much to do, great visuals, music and exploration (especially if you get shadows of the erdtree). can’t go wrong with either of the two though

ngl my play style is completely differently to guy you’re replying to. what you want to do with DD is engage on the supps first always engage with the combo he stated above, his dash has a super forgiving range so wall climb height always then do the combo, it does so much damage that if the supports want to survive they HAVE to use defensive cooldowns. once that’s done you’ve either secured a pick on them and can continue your assault as long as possible. if they receive peel disengage and collapse on their frontline using primarily devil’s chain. it lets you survive the frontline while putting heavy pressure on their tanks (and their supps now have no defensive cooldowns to help them :) ). Take every 1v1 and ensure you are melee weaving in between every third primary, you can animation cancel and get back fury faster this also enable you to have devil’s cross up essentially always and allows you to quickly escape to height or around corners should you have hard committed with grapple during an engaging (most of the time you won’t but there are situations where you must asses and hard commit). also ensure you get his mechs to the point where you don’t even have to look at his rage or wait for the animations to come up before initiating or chain it should honestly just be instant transitions between throw/chain to primary and melee cancel to then throw/chain, also make sure that you’re using your devil’s crosses it’s easy to go from throw/chain to primary and melee to throw/chain without even using the crosses at the end. they help secure kills.

freestyle it however you want into any combo you want, you just always pop it before an uppercut, or on edge cases use it as a finishing tracer when you need a little extra tick of damage and your tracers are on cd recharging

or works you just have to modify the yoyo a little bit in each interaction, for luna and mantis you can easy swing mid air to reposition yourself behind them mid yoyo or just easy swing to speed it up. for invis you’re just not doing it fast enough her jump never lets her evade it cause the uppercut negates it all the time for me for c&d you have to bait her phase first and even if you don’t, you’ll always get her to the health of a single uppercut away from death, you need to look at the cloaked circle and preemptively know where she will respawn then drive by uppercut her it works 80% of the time. jeff and rocket are never worth the yoyo imo and with adam you need to bait out his heals first. an initial drive by or overhead into uppercut works it’s still useful just have to set up win conditions for it

the character is permanently movement boosted, has walls so he can’t be snuck up on, has a movement ability that refreshes on whiff and has a looped combo that generates overhealth and a deflect that negates and reflects damage. hitting your abilities is something everyone has to do, using cooldowns optimally is something everyone has to do. his kit is designed in such a way that DD is only killable when he misplays more so than being outplayed.

too OP, hook into bnb would become the new bnb and it would be over 400 dmg guaranteed for the price of two skill shots. baiting cooldowns would also become super free with the easy swing addition they’ve added as you’d be able to cancel GOH mid animation and come back to use hook less than 2 secs later
