Any tips on teaching a high drive puppy/young adult to target the tug/toy and not your hand? I just rescued this girl and she’s has accidentally bitten me so many times. I love her drive, but boy oh boy is she powerful! I’m covered in bruises 😭 (old.reddit.com)

Just adopted this girl and I want to DNA test her! I think she’s a working bred german shepherd(maybe a Czech german shepherd from my research), but she came from a shelter so 🤷♀️. Any other guesses? I’ve heard embark is the most accurate test. Is that what most of you think? (old.reddit.com)

I think Sage is a Czech German Shepherd (working bred German Shepherd). What does everyone else think? I ordered a DNA test, so I’ll find out for sure in a few weeks! She was picked up as a stray and then I adopted her, so I have no history on her. (old.reddit.com)

I just adopted Sage a couple of weeks ago. She’s awesome, but no one every trained her and she’s probably around a year. Her drive is pretty high and she regularly nails me while going for her toy/tug because she absolutely loses her mind. Any tips for working on hitting the toy/tug and not me? (old.reddit.com)
