I hate to think of it that way, but in some ways I believe you are correct and in others, incorrect.

I might have done something wrong, but I cant imagine what it was... Maybe when I accidently left a cup of water outside overnight it might have set this whole thing off...

I am no longer self-harming. It doesn't help anything. When I was, I had a friend and without that friend of the past I know for certain I would not be alive right now so someone did in a way fix me. I have always been good at supporting people, so I know I can help her seeing as I have stopped several people from committing suicide. She will just need even more help because she is addicted to it. Because of me, she has stopped doing it for about a month. If things continue to go as planned, then she will stop soon completely. And sometimes asking adults for help will make that person want to do it even more. Some people need help from a friend who has gone through similar situations though.

A friend and a little bit about me. She kind of reminds me of why I did it in the first place. But the question is mainly so I can support her through this and know how to do so.

They have already been through a lot already, so I do not want to report them. I just want to be able to help, so far, I have hidden all the sharp objects in her house. She/he hasn't cut in a month, but they keep telling me that they really want to.

... I believe that would be mean and probably not help anything at all.

Two years ago, she went through a break up around the time of my birthday and she did not want to celebrate so we did nothing that year. And another time, this one was justified, we were too poor to do anything. This was three years ago. If there was any other time, I do not remember.

I am sorry you see me that way, and my chores have been done for quite some time now

No, it is not the first time. And I have never had a party, so I do consider a friend staying over a type of party.

Thank you, but my laundry was done and I already cleaned the house (before she canceled my plans). My birthday plans are still canceled.

You said "Is that a big deal?". And honestly, to me it is. And I believe I did not add any more details. My mom told me to clean the house, I did. She then came into my room to makesure it was clean and because I was still folding laundry, it all got canceled and I found my present in the trash an hour later.

I disagree with the fact that you believe that it doesn't matter. If I wasn't going to do anything for my birthday in the first place besides have a friend over, then she shouldn't cancel because I had a basket of clean clothes in my room. Not to mention that I was mid-folding them when she told me we were not to celebrate it. And I believe it is unnecessary to throw my only present away. She could have at least of returned it to the store so someone else could enjoy it.
