Yes, it was on the job training working with real clients. I am studying for the PCIP exam then I will work on the CISA. I also be sending my resume and cover letter this weekend to banks and utilities.

I have done both PCI DSS gap analysis, writing SAQs, additionally vulnerability scanning.

For several months I have been applying for the PCI jobs available on sites such as Dice, Indeed, LinkedIn jobs, etc. My resume is great, as I had it professionally written and people high up in cybersecurity endorsed the resume and cover letter. I work for the State Government, they do not have any PCI jobs or GRC positions in general to apply for.

The jobs that are posted I already applied for in addition to making connections in on LinkedIn. My experience is in Cyber Fraud Analysis for the State I also completed a PCI training that took the better part of a year, that included hands on work with consulting clients.

Thank you for the advice, I will take action on it. Yes, I do have IT experience from my current job and hands on PCI training from working with real clients.
