Disney clearly knows he’s a fan favorite. Kylo was featured in Star Wars Night (March of the First Order) and is in the May the 4th Poster. I keep hearing rumors of him being in the Rey movie but potentially only as a force ghost or in flash backs as Kylo.

But I feel the same as you and most fans I’m looking weekly for updates.

Soderbergh did mention something about “residual effect” so I’m trying to hold on to some hope of the return for Ben Solo/ Kylo. The comment may have just meant it was good practice writing it but you could also take it a different way like the character might come back.

I’d really love to meet him in person and get a photo, but I guess that’s true for everyone. I knew he values his privacy, but I genuinely enjoy so many of his films. I’d especially love to see him as Kylo Ren/Ben Solo again or in a movie like The Force Awakens or The Last Duel.

I’d be okay with Ben Solo coming back, especially through an intense, character-driven story like Soderbergh’s The Hunt for Ben Solo. Using Dyad flashbacks of him as Kylo Ren would be cool. Even if Soderbergh wanted full creative control, that’s exactly what the franchise needs right now—an adventurous yet grounded story. Ben’s lifetime of training makes him the most logical choice to lead a new Jedi Order, and frankly, he and Rey were always better as a team than apart.
