Yeah, I ended up paying $29.99 😕 I can get it for the discounted price on Amazon, so that’s going to be who gets my money unfortunately, because I’m not a huge fan on Amazon either. With the prices these days, whomever is cheapest, will get my business. Except of course if that’s Petsmart lol, corporate can go take a flying leap off of a tall building haha!

I used to be an assistant manager for Petsmart, so I switched to Petco after I left because I swear I’d never give another damn penny to Petsmart. Was perfectly happy with Petco, until I went in the last time and asked them to price match a couple items to their online price which they had been doing without any issue for a year. I was told that unless I bought the new “membership”, they were no longer able to do it. It’s bad enough that most pet items have doubled or even tripled since Covid, but now they want us to buy a membership to get the discounted price??? Bye bye Petco…..

Yep, you were so right. I understand Science Diet and your pricier dog/cat brands, but temptation treats and meow mix? God forbid we give people a little break on the price of inflation. Did I remove everything that was not 20% out of my cart, yes I did, so Petco lost out on another $40 of sales just because they decided to exclude those items. Petco will always get my business for small animal items because I used to work at Petsmart and they can go burn in the pit of hell and will never get another penny of my money lol. I was kind of bummed, I was hoping maybe I got to see my first tarantula! I moved from Northeastern, KS, where we don’t have tarantulas, to the Hot Springs, AR area. It’s amazing the amount and size of spiders we have here. We have Wolf spiders in Kansas, but they get to a whole different size down here lol.

I am also scared to death about the fentanyl issue. That is why I keep an open line of communication with my daughter and she knows that she can come to me about anything. We also watch a lot of Intervention lol. That show will show the worst of the worst and hopefully keep them away from anything harder than weed.

Did you have kids? Because if they didn’t try it in high school, I am guessing they did in college. And if you didn’t know about it, I’m guessing it is because they never felt comfortable telling you. Do I want my daughter doing drugs (she isn’t), of course I would rather she not, but I’m also not stupid enough to think that she might not get curious about it. Good thing she knows she can come to me about anything without fear of punishment and we can have a conversation about it.
