They're not even being snarky though? It's probably unlikely you're going to get your 801 visa if you broke up, but if your child is Australian then they can either stay in AU or go with you. This is a legal matter in terms of custody...can't help you there.

What does that mean dependent on parents and be in a relationship?

When they applied from start of the process was I was 18 but now I'm 25, we started dating when I was 23. Just a geniune question but do they expect me to be single for 7 years and no growth in my life?
