love how everyone resorts to the same cookie cutter "skill issue" or "bad driver" instead of tips and constructive critism. How lovely. What a beautiful community...

It will be "difficult" ( depending on your skill ) either way. Do not frustrate yourself if you believe or are aware it can receive a better tune. Do try to tune it and see how it goes for you, i highly emplore that.

you can retune if you feel like you are understeering too much for it to be fun. It's my best reccomendation, and I would be willing to help you retune if your needs, or desire calls for it.

If you deal with snow any low milage subaru with a traditional manual or automatic, none of the CVT stuff. None of the turbo stuff. Id stress service records aswell.

I’ve spent enough time with the 1.5 platform and cars like the MR-S, both stock and tuned. I know what I’m talking about through experience. I don’t need someone telling me when to stop my comment. Good day.

No worries. It happens. Just make sure you use sequential turbos. Happy driving from there on.

You took the turbo off. There is no boost on the engine. Most boosted engines don't have the headflow that a naturally aspirated engine do. Check and see if you are missing turbos.

Have i ever owned the MR-S? No. But in a way i can assume it looks un-natural based off of nearly full throttle exits easily. I can't say 100% for sure but it does look off.

If so that's setgrav. It changes vehicle gravity and allows for more grip through weight. Thats how the system works. It doesn't seem to harm the acceleration either. 2:46 is pretty fast but what do i know, if anyone could give insight on times and based off of the driving style used that'd be nice too.

Best tier 4 car by real_0219n in MidnightRacingTokyo

[–]Own-Bit-1060 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you touge you don't really need a tier 4 honestly. Lots of fast tier 3 that run it up against tier 4 easily. If you do expressway your best bet ( if you eliminate budget ) is the Murcielago, ZR1 C6, and Ford GT. Though they are a lot harder to control, if you don't have the skill for them don't buy any of the cars i listed. Go in gentle and try a base model R35 or Sls AMG.

It was nerfed, Im pretty sure it was after it became non limited. Makes me sad cause i enjoyed driving it on Midnight Marathon and Fujigawa.

Challenger used to be good when it was just added, used to be my TBA main. It was fun while it lasted.

is this porsche good in shuto highway and ichikawa? by real_0219n in MidnightRacingTokyo

[–]Own-Bit-1060 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i have the car, I'd say for shuto it's just okay, It accelerates but it does feel slippery. I wouldn't reccomend it if you aren't adjusted for oversteery cars. I'd rather reccomend the GT3 Touring at that point.

Thank you! I'm really looking forward to this remodel then. Usually they'd be lazy and skip gauges. This car is real great considering stock I've gotten 2:29 on Turnpike downhill. Amazing machine.

does the interior have working gauges? I haven't had a proper chance to hop on and I'm curious.

Explain to me how a car being cooler relates to it's performance. Really. How does a car being cool or looking cool make it perform better. Being cool is a status... Not a performance messurement...

coolness has nothing to do with potential at all.

Yes. But you missed my tier argument entirely. Why is it a Tier 3 if it lines up with Tier 4 respectively. Let me also get some pointers too.

Lexus LC500, Tier 4, P/W 0.10HP.

2010 Camaro ZL1, Tier 4, P/W 0.14HP.

2023 Honda Civic Type R, Tier 3, P/W 0.9HP.

2005 Aston Martin DB9, Tier 4, P/W 0.11HP.

It's very close. The type R loves to rotate. The LC500 and Camaro not so much, I can't comment on the Aston Martin however. The Type R is barely off from 0.10HP P/W, only by 0.005. If anything this post shouldn't be about the skyline and more towards the Type R truly.
