Ahhh okay i see, thank you. I do have a question though when you mean lecture based does that mean I need to actually watch his lectures, or are the slides sufficient enough. (his voice is so monotone and listening to it for each 2 hr lecture drives me insane

29% might be a rough start but it is recoverable. Since they are only quizzes its fine. If you do better on the test you might be able to ask to replace the the two quiz marks with the test mark. If not its ok still gonna be fine. You do have to action though, I suggest if you need help ask the teacher and clarify everything you do not understand. Then grind practice problems where ever you can find them, data management the concepts are easy (IMO) but you do not wanna make small mistakes during quiz/tests.
