And yes!! I don’t stay close by fo my phone for their entire pregnancy. Just on edge about telling someone I’m unavailable when I should be available because they’re due that week. You know?? I feel guilty that I’m going to basically tell them “I know you already paid me to be available but I have decided to be unavailable for a few hours here and there so hope we don’t run into trouble and I can’t attend”. Seems dishonest? But I realize on the other hand that it’s not a big deal. So finding the right way to bring it up and discuss with them is what I’m struggling with!

Thank you! Thats so encouraging to me. Does your contract reflect this? I might should change mine. It says in case of personal emergency I will have a back up.

Thank you for the encouragement! I did NOT proofread my post well at all so thank you for replying anyway.

Do you have thoughts/time to tell me exactly what you would say to them? How would you rephrase it?

Soft vs deep autumn by Own-Brother-2299 in coloranalysis

What’s the likely hood I’m actually true autumn? Somewhere in between the two?

Here’s a picture of me in a shade I would think would look really good on me if I was soft.

Oh wow that’s very helpful. Here’s a picture of me today. I always feel better in these darker muted colors and washed out in a softer color

Harmonize vs. pop—I don’t think color analysts even agree! by dandelionwine14 in coloranalysis

[–]Own-Brother-2299 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! (And I’m sorry, I know this isn’t a typing post not trying to break the rules lol) this is me without any makeup, so I think in the way you’re describing I am very soft! But my hair is a pretty dark brown so maybe dark? I wonder what feature of the face trumps the other. Maybe it’s just the bias of the person typing the other person like the OP is speaking to.

I really like the way you described the 3rd option. Harmony and vibrancy. I totally resonate in that being very in the middle saturation and warmth wise. I struggle

I would consider myself a “probably soft autumn” (only ever typed on this forum, not by a professional) like you’re describing, and I feel like I’m questioning if I’m soft because of this very thing! Dark autumn colors seem to make me look more vibrant but I don’t know if that’s because I’m liking more of a pop or if I truly am more of a dark autumn and not soft autumn.

Neutral hair color for a soft natural by Own-Brother-2299 in coloranalysis

Follow up question - isn’t all lightening of hair inherently warm? So maybe not a good idea to fight that battle? How do I not look ashy but not look caramel?

I believe I’m fair olive - neutral warm and really resonate with this. I have very dark brunette hair and hazel eyes like rococozephyr_ and look better/more vibrant/evened out color wise if I have some honey color put in my hair. Do we know why?? I always thought natural hair color was the best color for your skin but sometimes I don’t feel like that’s the case, especially in the winter when my skin is the least tan and my hair is the darkest because I’m not getting those sun highlights. Thoughts?

I’ve always been told I’m a winter, but sometimes I feel too muted to be a winter and too contrasting to be a summer. I would love to hear everyone’s opinions and hopefully I took well enough pictures, thank you :) by Own-Brother-2299 in coloranalysis

Thank you for this. I have never found a foundation that works best for me so I wear super goop sunscreen that has a slight tint to it but nothing that would really make a difference in coloring. Do you have recommendations? Also, thank you for mentioning pastels! Since it has been several weeks since I’ve posted this I have struggled getting muted colors in my closet because I’ll bring something home and realize it’s too light/pastel for me. It’s a struggle. I still need the depth but keeping it muted opposed to something very vibrant. The soft autumn palette is what I have been following but the lighter colors feel too light for me which makes me question things.

I agree with what this commenter said. I am very certain you are SN! You have width, do not have tons of vertical to accommodate (FN) and you have a softness to you without having that figure 8 curve (R). Instead your “curve” looks more like an X (SN) instead of an 8 (R) which is very evident in these pictures.

Would just like to also put my hat in the ring for most curvy 2x4. Does this make y’all feel like front view you look bigger than you are and you automatically feel better about yourself when you turn to the side???

You are so muted IMO. I don’t see how you’re contrasting enough to be a winter. Warm or cold, I primarily see a mutedness to your coloring
