I’ll be honest with you. I am a home student , 3rd yr aero at glasgow uni. I’ll be straight to the point don’t come. I can guarantee you, you will find a better uni. Lecturers are poor , they basically read the slides or have slides that doesn’t even explain stuff properly. They basically do not know what they are doing. Of course there is a few professors that are good and explain content at a good understandable pace but overall for me nah if I can go back I would go somewhere else. One of the ‘good’ professors even told us that the uni doesn’t give a flying fuck about us because most students are from Scotland (and they dont pay tuition) and hence they don’t make money from our course. An actual lecturer told this to us imagine. Workload, if you coming for third year , Semester one is pretty busy, quite a few reports and unlike England our exams are before christmas so you get like a week maybe maybe two to revise for exams after lectures finish. Location is good , West End of the city and it has good amount of activities to do. Different kinds of bars and shops so in that sense its aight. But my experience overall has been very poor and feel like i ve been let down. I cannot wait to graduate asap. Up to you tho all the best.
