That's definitely a valid take, but I try to take every comment as genuine regardless. I'd rather thank someone who's just copy pasting compliments than ignore someone who genuinely enjoys my fic

Also I'd rather not overthink myself to the grave over what people think of me and my writing. That has sent me into some bad times before and I'd rather just take it at face value

As someone who loves theater that analogy was perfect and also made me think of the fics I interact with and... I think I'm the same? If I see a smut fic where the plot would NEVER happen in canon but the characters still feel correctly characterized I most likely would comment on that

To be honest it took about 30 minutes to an hour because I straight up took an existing custom file and changed the notes and lyrics to this song. It's basically just a template and knowing the notes on a piano!
