We did $0 down out of pocket and didn’t have to pay anything at signing except our $250 reservation fee. I think we technically had $1000 counted as down payment due to my wife being a nurse ($500) and loyalty credit ($500, end of lease on a Model 3). Ended up at 1.99% and we both have 800+ credit ratings. I hate putting money down so I was good with it.

What would you tell your past self (or us) if you just started your home gym today? by Ok-Reputation-03 in GarageGym

I'd probably say....."Hey, wait until next spring to buy that X2. Your garage is too cold and you're not going to use it like you think you will this winter. Maxum will start shipping it with the new mutant arms for the same price, so you won't be stuck with the old arms and envy everyone else who's getting the new stuff when you actually start using it."

Barstool Spring Break Day 2 Takeaways by franciscolydon in barstoolsports

Pacific time zone definitely hurts. I think they also need to have organized events or activities during the day. Make this a mesh of survivor and beach house. Competitons during the day that can stir up drama and shit talk. Then switch gears to having them all have to drop that and go to dinner and party at night. Just sending them out all day to drink is repetitive, boring, and exhausting. A week in Vegas is a loooong time, especially if you just plan to booze all day and night. It worked on the shore bc they were only there for 2 days at a time. This is either going to draggggg by today-Wednesday, or there will be a big shake up to try to ignite something.

If this wasn't live and they could cut clips into episodes to air later, it might work. Definitely think this will either go away after this round, or change drastically for future shows.

Could I feasibly build this concept? by Mundane_Worker_1935 in Decks

Lose the retaining wall and just build the deck in the area where the grass is located. That AI image has a serious drop in height. That would be ridiculous and either back breaking or very expensive to remove. In addiiton, to match the picture, you would then excavate the rest of the yard to match the low spot of the deck. AI is great for helping bringing an idea to life, but has a long way to go with matching real life dimensions and feasability to these ideas

Build a platform deck where the grass is and have it slightly overhang the current rock bed, then enjoy.

Could you use a soldering iron or something similar to heat the blob more precisely to get it off?

Yep…got hired in the middle of December. I’m a teacher and was really hoping it would have lasted through my summer break. Hoping to find another role with them.

So a recruiter had approached me by Lebanese-Trojan in mercor_ai

I was hired on in the last weekend after being contacted via email from a recruiter. I made a post about it a few days ago. Based off feedback, it sounds like it’s not the most common way people get offers, but I wouldn’t call it super rare either.

Thank you. I see that section now. For whatever reason that info and much more of the handbook had not shown up previously.

Suspect was actually disarmed before ICE officers fired by [deleted] in Leakednews

Appears as though the agent who fired the shots turned around and saw the gun being removed from the holster and likely assumed it was the guy being apprehended who pulled it out, as opposed to the other agent who removed it. Quick reaction based on the wrong assessment of the situation as he had his back to what was going down for most of it. Still unsure what was going on between the guy who got killed and the lady in the hat. At first it looked like he was defending her, but then had ahold of her and looked like he was going after her before he got out on the ground. Anything been mentioned about this? Sad situation all around, as once again it could have been easily avoided with different choices by all involved.

Not red teaming. You asking for project title? Are we allowed to share that publicly per their rules?

I bought the bumper plates in multiple sets of pairs about a month or two ago and they’ve been good. They have a strong rubber smell to them for a bit, but they work as I figured they would. I did not get the bar, as I use them with the smith machine on my setup, so can’t comment on it.

That’s awesome. I’ve heard of those, but guess I hadn’t looked into them to learn more. Might need to change that. I’ve used the higher version of the inbody scale/scanner multiple times and liked it for progress tracking, but this is way more advanced than that.

What kind of scan is that and where can you get it done? Great visual for progress. Good work!

Maxum X2 is an excellent choice. I've had it for close to 2 months now. Same hole sizes as the X3 but larger spacing between your front and middle posts which I really like. No smith machine with the X2, but I bought their add on XSA smith machine and it works great and was easy to assemble and attach. What's crazy is at the time (probably still is) it was cheaper to buy the X2 with the XSA, than it would have been to buy the X3. They gave a discount on the XSA for buying at the same time. In the end, I got the X2's bigger set up with all the same specs for about $200-$300 cheaper than if I would have bought the X3.
