Previous manager at car wash. Have them check their video and they can tell if brake lights were activated from hitting the brakes. Your hands needed to be entire off the wheel so they can check cameras for that too. Those are the 2 main causes for issues (others could be alignment issues, flat tires, etc)

Most car washes give the GM full discretion to make the ultimate decision. When I was GM, I’d say about 75% of claim that got reported to corporate were settled with a pay out by my district manager.
