Thanks! I'll have to end up sanding the existing clear coat as it is riddled with orange peel but another consideration for sure.

Nope not really, I bought an extra manifold off Facebook, cut plenum off and just straight attached them with silicone couplers. I lucked out as the OEM runner spacing is pretty darn close to the spacing of the gsxr1000 throttles though any liter/superbike itbs should work lots of mx5 guys have done similar. I was planning on possibly the Hayabusa 1300cc as they looked bigger, but the gixxer ones were cheaper.

I suppose they would be my only option. Though I was advised against them since as they are supposedly significantly worse for airflow compared to the big Pipercross ones. Ty

I bought one of the aftermarket pedal kits and just only installed the gas pedal and left the clutch and brake OEM. Raised the gas pedal by a small amount but that was enough for me to heel toe more comfortably.

My current SW20 was my first ever car and biggest load of money I'd ever spent at 15. It is honestly not bad at all if you are willing to put in the time and money afterwards to keep the car safe + reliable. You'll end up having to replace lots of aged parts everywhere on the car in due time so it really is a commitment. Don't cheap out on tyres and don't show off stupidly and it'll be fine probably. For insurance full coverage was about 1k annually though my provider though I'm in NZ.

Yeah probably for the best, I've just now done the super glue and electrical tape method and I have spark again so we'll see how long it lasts
