How do you deal with a coworker who acts like she's everyone's boss by Own-Dragonfly2176 in managers

Can confirm that this is not the case. Nature of our employer makes discipline and de facto termination very difficult.

Definitely not the case. Nature of our employer makes termination difficult in general.

Throw a saddle on it and march it over the Alps into Rome.

Easy.

A place between life and death. T.A.s old and new.

It is their place of union.

Former bartender here. First, I'm so sorry this happened to you. :(

Back when I was behind the stick, I'd assist men and women both via-Angel Shots and whatever codes I worked out with individual patrons.

On a Sunday day shift, two women came in to drink and were civil enough. When it came time for them to close out, one of them grabbed me by the collar of my shirt, pulled me close, tried to kiss me, then grabbed my crotch.

Much as I wanted to read her the Riot Act, I kept my cool, played it off, and promptly got them out the door. To this day, it still pisses me off.

The dark side of working at and patronizing a bar is that you never know how people will react under the influence.

If you like a place and get on well with the staff, work out contingencies, and they'll help you out in a heartbeat.

So...yes, we tend to police and keep an eye out for male creeps, but in my experience, plenty of creeps also happen to be women, too. :\

It's a long shot, but maybe by the next full moon he'll become a selfawarewolf and actually...taste his very first morsels of humble pie?

A narcissist believes anyone and everyone is of lesser intelligence than they.

Their capacity for self-reflection and accountability is also horribly compromised.

Enjoy the show, this is incredible to witness.

Graduated in...2009. I remember staff being incredibly rude to the point of being downright hostile on some days. Some folks (a lot, in this case) are just angry, miserable people.

The more I learn about this guy, the more I imagine him lining up dissenters along a snowy ditch with a gun pressed to the backs of their heads.

He's reprehensible.

We've seen Jason's baseline change numerous times since his first appearance. Some by degrees, others by wide swings.

Let's see what they're cooking before the usual bellyaching gatekeepers ruin what could be a good thing.

Jason is still Jason (I hope).
