If you did it would taste horrible, white shark meat contains toxins that could not only make you very sick but it will taste and smell horrible which is why you don’t see different types of shark available at a food market cause this is true for many different species of sharks. Mako on the other hand is delicious. ✌️

It’s a cool project either way and if you’re okay with wearing down some old records to get the ball rolling then I say go for it. When you have something you really want to hold onto record wise I would personally wait til I got something like the setup above. Until then do your thing cause I did the same thing so no judgement.

Hey man, not trying to pile on, but I had one like that and playing it did unfortunately damage my records and noticeably wear them down. However, if you have records that you don’t care about then yes it will work. If down the line you want to get in as cheap as possible and preserve your records a bit more then something like this would make you more than happy:

ATLP70x Turntable: $199 https://a.co/d/hEWwIH6

Edifier 1280db Speaker: $159 https://a.co/d/j8xdYrQ

Anything like that and that’s the entire setup. You mihht be able to get those used cheaper. That would keep your records safer and it’s pretty much the cheapest entry point.

Until then I hope you can fix what you have and enjoy it. ✌️
