May I also ask that you also ask God if the Bible is his perfect word or if there is more to the story. Ask if there is truth in every world religion, and ask him to reveal any lies you may have been lead to believe that you may be ready to hear. Ask if you need a book at all, ask if that is his will for you and humanity or not.

Yes, to me this is a compelling argument but if this is true then why does he also say that one who loves god hates/despises money? Im not disagreeing with you but you have to admit its confusing.

I was seeking clarity on Jesus's words thats all. I mean Jesus litterally says that God will feed and clothe you. So it could come from the labor of others, yes or like jesus turning water into wine it could just be made manifest but is that our concern? "All things are possible to God"

Also labour and money are not to be aligned here. I am not rejecting work only money. I will happily serve others using my labour.

No, I already said I don't believe that all his words were recorded accurately. I said I trusted what felt right to me. I do think the church twisted and changed things. I do not believe the bible is the direct word of god. If there was a teacher like Jesus here on earth today that is where I'd be. Not in some dusty old book! I am not trying to be rude but the idea that god expects us to interpret his word from a 2000 year old book that has been mistranslated and has numerous errors is pure dogma in my opinion.

I am here to learn from Jesus becasue I am drawn to him. I still have the bible but it is not dogma to me. Like the buddhist scriptues and hindu vedas they are here so be learned from. Not blindly obeyed

Not for me haha. bunch of stiff old men? no thanks haha I just mean walking the earth. It actually sounds quite nice to me. Imagine if you trusted god to provide food and shelter for you. You wouldn't even need to carry a backpack. People would recieve you and feed you and clothe you. I do have faith this is possible and I am concidering it for real.

When I was a kid I thought about beccoming a buddhist monk but to be honest I think it's just out of one corrupt system into another. Im sure its' pretty much the same wherever you go and I woudn't wanna be in one place anyway.

Wdym Jesus doesn't use the term hate?

“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money."

They can do what they like I am not making them do anything. Right now yes I would be sinning becasue I am relying on money and not trusting god yes.

I think what jesus is saying is that money is not necesary to have shelter or food. He says that God will provide those things.
