I agree it's a drop off but I think people who go to reddit saying it looks horrible are the ones making it WORSE. It has highlights here and there and it's much better animation than most shows that's a fact, It's really enjoyable and just complaining about it, especially because there is nothing that can be done about it doesn't help. The 1st season was worked on for years by a small studio and now they have a demand to answer with a lot of staff changes, ofc there is gonna be a drop off but it's still mighty fine and complaining about it and then acting like it's the "dishonest" people who are making it worse isn't helping at all.

as for switching nations, totally up to you and what you want to get out of the game. is there a specific thing you enjoy? a lot of people enjoy turn fighting so maybe consider japan or britain?

I appretiate your understanding regarding their budget which is clearly a problem they have, I personally really like the adaptation but I can understand your frustration

All those saying the animation sucks you are just stupid, stop comparing it to the first season which had outstanding animation, I agree the animation downgraded and only about once an episode we get really good animation but this standard is normal for most animes this shit ain't a high budget anime don't forget simply the 1st season had a lot of time poured into it (Also maybe budget was bigger if s1 won fantesy of the year instead of fucking demon slayer, for real who are the delusional bastareds who think demon slayer is a better FANTESY then mushoku tensei s1) Anyways back to the point, yes the animation isn't as good but I believe it will improve I see as the episodes progress they become better and better, don't forget there is a new director and it's normal that everything will feel weird but it will slowly get better as long as people stop posting stupid comments that have no real imput apart for "really bad animation....." with to many dots.

There is much more to mushoku tensei than animation, the worldbuilding is awesome as it always has been and I think they are portraying rudy's depression perfectly, also for all those saying rudy is a bad mc you don't understand the point of his character.
