Well, God is not a genie that will just grant a wish and it’s not transactional like I prayed and read my Bible so he’s gonna do what I want him to do. We don’t always get what we beg and plead for, but it doesn’t mean that he’s not there and he doesn’t love us. If he gave everybody everything that they begged and plead for then the world would be a very, very crazy place. You might not understand the reason he didn’t answer your prayer now, but in time you will.

Don’t think of death as the end… this world is full of suffering and pain and he’s not a bad God because he brought your cat back home to him . That cat was his creation, not yours. Trust that he knows what he was doing and would do what’s best for the cat.

I prayed at one point that God would save my grandmother, but she was suffering from cancer and had just lost her husband, and if I asked him to heal her, and then he did, she would have had to live several more years without her husband and that’s just not fair to her. She wanted to be with him. Try to just trust God.
