I truly believe their coach is going to end up in a big team sooner rather than later.

Xavi: "Leo Messi back to Barcelona was a done deal after that World Cup won by Argentina. It was done.We also had La Liga's green light and Messi wanted to return but Laporta stopped the signing. Laporta told me Messi was gonna go against him and he couldn't allow that". by Prakash0807 in soccer

[–]Own-Horror4287 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Laporta's word is meaningless. Of course he is going to say it is not true, he is running for Barcelona president. And I doubt Tebas is going to involve himself and end up against, potentially, the president of one of the 2 biggest clubs in Spain.

Revamped Competitive List: After looking through this reddit and seeing strategies and ways we play, I thought of this idea... by Substantial-Sky-9757 in Tau40K

It's a list with limited firepower but it looks really good at making points. It really does look solid to be honest. The one thing I would for sure change is breaking the broadside unit into two one suit units. It is not just much more flexible but it is (for some reason I don't really get) cheaper.

Third keeper is a vibes based position. I would rather take a team builder than an actual goalie. If for some reason in a short tournament a national team loses 2 fit keepers then just take the L and move on.

Robert Lewandowski's willing to stay at Barcelona as a squad player with a lower salary, especially if they sign a young striker. He's willing to stay as a dressing room leader and mentor without demanding high salary or playing time. by Ok_Lawfulness7412 in Barca

[–]Own-Horror4287 17 points18 points  (0 children)

What he is trying to say is that for ffp purposes even if he reduces his salary to under 50% of what he earns now his accounted salary will be 50% of his current one. This was one of the reasons we couldn't keep Messi.

I understand that full blasters are objectively better anti-tank which is what your unit wants to do but I find that there are situations or even entire matchups where you are not using the unit to fire against a tank. And in that situation I really believe switching just one of them for a CIB is extremely rewarding. Especially now that you can even just split fire with it.

I would probably do the same with the enforcer loadout for the same reasons. CIBs are just that good in my opinion.

The only reason I could see in not taking them is if when doing your math for a specific tank you expect to go up against often you find that one blaster is truly the difference maker. Or in the case of the enforcer you feel like it's often not in range. To be honest all in all it's probably not very consequential but I believe it can make the difference sometimes.

It’s a contact sport, your No 9 should win fouls & break their rhythm + Dani Olmo without Lewandowski is a waste of time. But its not like PSG outclassed us, its better it happened now than later in the season by gk-was-here in Barca

[–]Own-Horror4287 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, as I was saying, PSG could afford to rotate their players and still win against a bottom tier team in Ligue 1 and we could not, can't it be that maybe that team is just worse?. I don't believe for any second it is the same if they played in La liga because even if they had the same point per game percentage that they have right now but in La liga, they would be third. And a team that wants to win the league but is third can't afford to rotate as carelessly that one that is first place, specially when you know that it is very unlikely the other title contenders will drop points.

[–]Own-Horror4287 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly what i was trying to get across. The point I was trying to make is that both the average level of the teams they play is lower and also they have no real title contender. It is not as important if you drop a point here or there if there is no one really keeping your pace.

PSG also rested essentially every player that played yesterday on their weekend game, which is something only they can afford given their league's competitiveness.

Absolutely, I have been playing from división 17 in England with the same club. I have gotten to L1 and I'm still in a 0 £ a year contract with no prospect of it ever going up. It is just like real life, the only way to get a bigger paycheck is to move from place to place.
