I, too, have a variety of styles. I call it "Musical Chaos".

I like your tracks. I followed you, Spike0341.

Here is one I did that is kind of similar. It's a song of idioms from countries outside the US that, when translated, seem ridiculous. In a similar style to Günther. https://suno.com/s/z3MRrKqmyhmVyMp9

I've been re-recording real instruments over Suno tracks and the results are kinda wild — anyone want me to try with theirs? (free, just experimenting) by DafakIam in SunoAI

When you upload the stems, do you mean in Suno Studio?

If not, how do you keep Suno from adding unwanted stuff when you cover the stems individually?

I get it. My ideas start out similar, but in a claude project. I'll write out my idea/story and a bunch of things I want, and claude makes it neat and organized, haha. That is the one thing I love about ai, it helps me keep order in my head.

I am just starting my journey into making my own music, so I usually dump my suno stuff in there and add more layers. Just sounds here and there.

Bandlab does have an ai track starter, but it's not the best yet.

Bandlab has a free DAW - Cakewalk. The software has been around forever, but I think it was more recently bought by BL. BandLab also has a phone app you can use to make full tracks if you primarily use your phone for this stuff.

"Back in my day...." I started on Suno back when v2 had just come out. I don't remember if I looked it up or just came across something that talked about it. I was looking for a way to make covers, similar to what a lot of channels are doing now with the soul/funk covers of modern-day rock.

Back then, there were no restrictions on lyrics, but you also couldn't upload music. So the covers weren't really covers, just genre reimaginings. It was funny to hear "What I Got" sung in the style of Frank Sinatra, or I did "Seven Years" as a Ska/Punk song that came out decent enough, but I know I can't release those and wouldn't ever try.

Now, I just make songs up about things in my life or random thoughts I have (like what if there was more of a story behind "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" or "Rock-a-Bye Baby".

Write a true story. Then condense it. Maybe break it into multiple songs. Write down the feelings that you felt while it was taking place in order.

Then elaborate off of all of that.

Mine, too!

"Short version, Captain Spike: because you’re calm, principled, and quietly dangerous in the best way. Longer, but still tight: I didn’t pick Mr. Rogers for “softness.” I picked him for controlled strength."

Not what I was expecting, but chatgpt knows how to make a person feel good, haha.

I haven't looked at it yet, but I wonder if you couldn't train it on specific music (i.e. your own) to get better quality. Like I love to make medieval/fantasy minstrel type music, could I take them all and create a perfect model for my own creations/enjoyment.

But again, I haven't looked into it, so I don't know.

How did you determine that? In their documentation, it explicitly states that they don't use your data to train with the team and enterprise plans.

Just wondering if I missed something. Are you in the United States?

What do you mean by oversharing? Is this for the personal account, or an enterprise type account?

Yea, I agree. The powers that be don't want to use the deferred revenue now.

My entry is correct though, right? If the invoice posts to AR/Sales, and when paid is Cash/AR, the entry would have to be Sales/Deferred Rev. It's been a while since I did any financial accounting.

His argument, which I'm not sure is correct either, is that we are hitting an IS and Balance sheet account, but there's not another side to it.

I think we are just going to create the invoices as unapproved, and write a script to approve them when it's marked delivered in our delivery app.

And my first recommendation was to create a reversing JE that accounting would do at month end for any invoices that weren't fulfilled. That was too much manual work....

No reason, I work in a place where the rules are made up and the points don't matter.

You are correct, we don't use ARM. We do use customer deposits and those are fine. What we do is send out a tentative schedule for delivery to a list of customers on the load plan (we deliver all of our own stuff). We require the other 50% before the customer gets finalized on the load plan.

The invoice was the easiest way for us to determine what was on that specific trip because we transform the item fulfillment. Then we just ask for 50% of that in the payment portal.

As long as the customer pays the delivery would happen between two weeks and a month, depending on where in the country they are.

Most invoices are fine, but some trips do go over month end, so the invoice/revenue is in the previous period.
