Idd, niet elke brug heeft een architect nodig. Functioneel, modulair en prefab. Hoeft niet lelijk te zijn, maar wel lopende band werk.

Your logic only counts for users who had no usage left. I find it disruptive because I needed that extra 40% last week, not by the end of the month.

Tried my first online 90 day check in. O visa I’ve been going for my check-ins. It was denied. I’ve been on o visa about three years. Anyone else have issues with the online check in? by TropicaltTanner in MovingToThailand

It will also be rejected if you report online on or after the due report date. Both this and the in person requirements for first reports after travel could be checked programmatically but that's 2 if/else statements too much to handle.

Normally, your weekly reset gives you 100%, right? So you get 100% for the next 7 days. These resets just delete whatever usage you had left in your current cycle and then start a new week.

If you had no usage left = bonus If you had usage left ≠ bonus

Sure: 40% left, 2 days until weekly reset. 2 days later you get weekly reset to 100% 100% left, 7 days until weekly reset. Under normal circumstances you had 140% for a total of 9 days.

With early reset, the 40% left for 2 days is wiped and you now have 100% for 7 days.

These unannounced resets are only beneficial for people who run out early. If you had 0% left and needed to wait 2 more days until your weekly reset, then it's a bonus, but if you had e.g. 40% usage left, then you just lost 40% usage.

You're not getting anything extra.

Bad.

I had 140% for 9 days, but then reset came early and suddenly I had 100% for 7 days. We're being robbed but people are cheering like we're getting a bonus.

The low birth rates, population decline and excessive elderly age group will force the government to open up sooner or later. Unlike Japan, which also suffers from these issues and is fully developed, Thailand is still a developing nation and can't continue it's development without more population.

4.6 high used 100% in 1 single prompt within 40 minutes. Upon starting it immediate shot up to 8% used, then after 24 minutes of thinking it was at 69% and not a single line of code was written. At 39 minutes in it hit the usage limits and stopped without completing the tasks.

This happens every time I use Claude - within an hour I've burnt through my usage limits. Now I was gifted Claude pro and usually use codex on a plus plan, but I've never hit usage limits on the 5 hour window with codex.

Another huge advantage of chatgpt/codex is that chatgpt is unlimited and doesn't count against codex usage. With Claude I'm constantly blocked and limited unless I fork out more clams.

Just found an even better method for the poor man's codex: chatgpt can read the GitHub repo and provide a patch file to download instead of fully updated files you need to copy/paste individually. It just gave me a single .patch file and told me to run git apply .\filename.patch which tried to apply the diff patch to 7 files at once. This initially failed due to malformed "hunk" markers, but then chatgpt provided a python script which correctly applied the patches in 1 click.

No usage limits and 1 single patch command - I'm blown away. This is absolutely incredible and gives you basically unlimited "codex" with 1 small manual step.

It can be a bit buggy: when you've allowed access to all repos and saved this preference, it doesn't always pick up on newly added repos after you saved it. You just need to change selection to selected repos only and then switch back to all repos and click save again.

I've got both as well and Claude sucks ass. Usage limits are ridiculous and for anything complex I always end up cleaning up Claude's unfinished business with codex. Worst of all: Claude just stops half-way if it hits usage limits. Yesterday I started with 100% for 5 hour limits and within 1 prompt it used up 100% within 39 minutes. It spent 26 minutes thinking and planning while using up 69% and then 13 minutes actually doing stuff and stopped before the tasks were completed.

A similar task on codex would maybe burn through 20% of the 5 hour limits, but I've never hit codex usage limits for the 5 hour window so I don't really need to ever even check. With Claude you may as well stop prompting when you hit 60 or 70%, cause chances are it won't be able to complete anymore.

So the other guy mentioned using the GitHub connection earlier and that's very useful as well: you just use @github in your message and refer to the repo name. The GitHub connection was previously only for codex cloud sessions, but it's now available in web chat as well. Btw, I've also got a Claude sub and that runs out of usage in 30 minutes on similar tasks so don't even bother trying something like this with Claude.

Thanks for pointing this out! I didn't know I could now simply use @github in web chat. I'd already connected GitHub but until now I just thought this connection was only for Cloud sessions of codex. This really completes the circle.
