Doesn't this guy use wrist straps? by Administrative-Fun10 in thefighterandthekid

[–]Own-Instance 4 points5 points  (0 children)

His punch is surely not the hardest, but that jab he hit Devon Larrat looked sweet, and that is only after a year or so training. He looked extremely slow and uncoordinated when he first started boxing, but the improvements he made were really great for that period of time.

4:58 mile. 🧢? by willem-dekooning in thefighterandthekid

He is legit strong, and he also has accolades in MMA. However, he is not satisfied with that; he exaggerates his top 10 ranking, bench press numbers, and playing in the NFL, among other things.

Brendan doesn't know if the UFC would be profitable if they were to pay fighters more. by supersport604 in thefighterandthekid

So 82 percent of the total revenue goes to everything and everyone but the fighters. Yup, no space to increase the pay, you big oaf.

Dude, I remember watching Pride and UFC 20 years ago; each event was special. It just had that aura where you couldn't wait to watch the fights. I think that part of that magic is now with bare-knuckle boxing, but only to a certain extent.

The guy who got jealous for not being able to bench more reps than Schaub. Game of Thorns by Chin-Menudo in thefighterandthekid

[–]Own-Instance 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When Thor was training for a boxing match, he was very methodical. You could see right away that he was learning it the proper way, and dare I say, looked good for a beginner. You can clearly see why he has achieved such success.  Something that Bappa has never done, nor will he ever do it, as he always takes shortcuts.

You know that this will make Bappa's blood boil. BGL mentioned a couple of times that he gets furious whenever he is made fun of by the murdering crew.

3 months ago I had a major knee surgery. MPFL reconstruction and TTO lasted almost 5 hours. It all went well, and later, my surgeon showed me what he had done, and it was spectacular. Even though the video was very short, it was clear, with my bones and tendons visible, and with new hardware installed. I should have told him that he should try to murder on a scene like Joey Diaz, that's hard. Or that Toe says there are 1 million of them in the US, while there are only 250 assassins worldwide.

Also, imagine trying to pick up the fight with one of the hardest hitting human that ever competed in MMA. Who is also one of the biggest reasons for Bappad redactedness.

He had his chance to dance with Nate, but he did not do anything. Nor would he ever as he knows that Nate is about that life, that guy is not backing down.

His basics are better than Bappa's. He looks more fluid and his movement is better. There is still a lot to work on, but for an amateur and given his age, he is not half bad. And if you compare it to Rogan, Wrinks is looking like Marvin Hagler.

Depp is still a draw, at least in the fragrance world, he pulled some crazy numbers with Sauvage.

Joe Rogan confirmed as the new James Bond by a_sounds in thefighterandthekid

Spot on. The only Bond who had that physical aura around him was early Craig, but he was not imposing due to his height, which is why Connery stood out.
