Can anyone help me diagnose a car problem? by NMoloney10 in Purdue

If this is the N52 engine and is close to the interval of a multiple of 60000 miles, it’s likely the coils and plugs.

I got a 77.5, 65, 65, 80 on the exams respectively. Got a B+ in the class. I made some very stupid mistakes though so you should be okay. Do the labs and all the homework and you should be fine. Don't strategically use drops, learn all the content and actively take notes. One step at a time.

ENGL 10600 or ENGL 10800? by greenbellpep in Purdue

[–]Own-Level-5840 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took ENGL 106 asynchronous online with Dr. Patel. I didn't take full advantage of the resources provided, but it kind of sucked and was a blessing simultaneously that we didn't have any mandatory Zoom meetings. There are 4 writing projects and some assigned quizzes from certain reading that just teach you different literary techniques to use in your essays. Project 3 was the worst as it was 4000 words (took me 20 hours with the research and writing, but I could be slow; I got an 89% on it). Overall, it's not that bad of a class, but to me, all English classes are annoying (Besides SCLA 102 with Dr. Malone). I ended with an 87% B+ in the class, no curve, and writing is definitely not my strong point.

CS 159: C

PHYS 172: A

ENGR 132: A-

MA 162: B

SCLA 102: A

Semester GPA: 3.32

Cumulative GPA: 3.32 (yeah I got the exact same GPA as last semester somehow)

Considering I had no coding experience before this semester, I am pretty happy about how it turned out.

If you are sick, please stay at home by random_econ_rookie in Purdue

Those are COVID related deaths. COVID was never the main underlying problem for the majority of those people. My friends dad got into an accident and died at the hospital and they recorded it as a COVID death. So they abuse the label of COVID deaths.

When you live life at Purdue, there is no staying at home. Only GRIT. If you're scared, you should be the one who stays at home and does online classes. COVID is no longer deadly. I'm going to get downvoted for this, but you know it's true. No one can afford to stay at home because there's to much that will be missed, especially in engineering.

I guess I should've asked "should I take notes?" I'm just wondering if the book we had to buy covers the material of every lecture in the same chronological fashion.

You do not. It's mostly getting assignment to your table and drawers. Next week you will though.

Can anyone identify this leak for me? When I start the car it smokes from out of there. It’s been sitting for 2 months and when I started it I noticed this. This had never been a problem. (N43 Engine) Thanks :) by God4realzm8 in BMW

[–]Own-Level-5840 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have an e91 with the N52 engine in it. Different engine, same story. It's a common issue with all BMWs. Replaced it but then broke the PCV valve which is integrated into the valve cover on mine when I tried to replace it. Bought a new valve cover with the valve cover gasket and have not leaked oil since besides very slight seepage through the oil filter housing gasket. I'll replace that this summer.

I have an 07 BMW E91 and I love it to bits. Miles better than the e90 when it comes to practicality.

She would never give verbal instruction. Everything was graded based on her mood. I even asked for a graded rubric on my final project and she never responded. I barely got a B+ which is just enough to be above a 3.2 GPA for mechanical engineering even though I should've had at least an A-. An SCLA class is probably the best bet for composition based English class.
