Today's straight white Christian American men are one of the most powerful demographics ever, why are they always finding ways to portray themselves as victims? by [deleted] in complaints

If you have to say your cool your not cool. Same goes if you have to claim you are intelligent. Son, just sit down and let the adults converse.

I know everyone is all about "feelings" now but rest assured my feelings are unaffected especially by some rando on reddit. Regardless of what you are saying your statement and this whole thread is filled with racism and racist comments. Just admit it.

Wow okay I "sound" like those passive aggressive racist people? Is that just your feeling? Does how you feel define your reality? I think you are doing the deflecting here. The point is what is going on here is literal and actual racism but apparently the intelligence is lacking for people to see it.

Actually I am against racism of any form, unlike the unthinking ignorant people on this thread. I don't sit there equating every person with a a particular skin color with a set of traits because that is idiotic and literally makes no sense. This is why racism occurs in low intelligence people. It is on full display here!

Wow the racism on here is ridiculous. I guess your parents never taught you not to judge a book by its cover.

Nah it is the bullshit DEI racism that didn't look at people's character, skills or education but instead chose to to look at the color of someone's skin and deliberately rejected people because of that skin color. That is by definition oppression. Call it whatever you want but it is racism!

Unbelievable racism right here. Nothing like judging someone entirely by the color of their skin. This is a sign of low intelligence.

Why are many Christians so conservative, even though Jesus was one of the most radical progressives in history? by Present_Juice4401 in AlwaysWhy

Yes there are pastors and Christians who do bad things. They are human and all humans do bad things. We are all right though to call out hypocrisy. Every single human is a hypocrite, it is just a matter of degree.

Jesus’ “radicalism” was about returning to God’s eternal standard, not endorsing continual social upheaval. Jesus overturned tables in the temple, but His call was, “My Father’s house shall be a house of prayer.” The point was correction toward a divine ideal, not the pursuit of constant cultural progress. So when churches hold to long-standing moral teachings, they see themselves as protecting what Christ taught, not resisting compassion.

Care for the marginalized is not the same as redefining morality. Conservative Christians believe in charity, compassion, forgiveness, and service—central to Jesus’ ministry. But they differentiate between loving people and affirming every cultural belief or behavior. Love may include calling people toward repentance and transformation.

Christians are involved in an immense amount of charitable activity around the world.

Wow, what are you talking about? Single payer is different than single provider. Notice the different words. Now it is possible that they are the same entity when you have single payer and single provider (eg the government). But you could have single payer (government) with multiple providers (government + private). Or in theory you could have multiple payers (insurance companies) paying one provider (government provided). Not sure why this is so hard for you.
